This phone number has been used for rental fraud with different names including Karl Dromar.

I looked into the HTML attachment that they had sent to me. It was using content on image.providesupport.com. This domain is registered under the following name:

I just talked to them. They pretend to be a real customer service. They had my name and the scammer's name.

I went to report the gentleman to the police. They said you have not lost any money. Those who have lost their money are none of your business and that was a life lesson for them. If it had happened, it would not be a crime. It would be a civil offense and you had to go to a court.
