Thanks for your interest in my apartment.
Luckily, it is still free for your dates, 31st December to 4th January.
The total amount for your stay is EUR600 for 4-nights @EUR150 per night, which includes cleaning fee, utilities and tax.
To secure the Apartment down for your dates, a 50% prepayment is required to confirm a reservation with the balance due in cash upon arrival. 50% of the rental fee will be (EUR300) + EUR300, a fixed refundable damage security deposit. The total amount you need pay to book down the Apartment for your desired dates is = EUR600.

This person asks for a deposit payment via Western Union or MoneyGram with a promise that he will reserve the property for you.
Sounds safe. It's not!
At other times, he will ask for proof that you are able to pay the deposit and rent due to a string of time wasters.
This proof is in the form of a Western Union or MoneyGram payment to a lawyer,a friend or family member.
In either case, if payment is made and you give this person the details, they will collect the money.
You will not hear from them again.
If you are reading this because you are looking for property to rent, and you are in contact with this thief you are probably searching Craigslist, Gumtree or similar listing sites. If you receive any requests from 'Landlords' asking for some kind of payment before viewing, then it will also be a scam. Please forward the mail to me at the address in my signature line and I will investigate and list them if necessary.

Thanks for your prompt response to my email, confirming your interest in my apartment.
To proceed, I have attached the Booking Agreement form/payment process with this message, fill it and send it back to me with a scanned copy of the funds transfer confirmation. After receiving them from you, I will forward you my invoice to confirm your reservation. I will hand over the keys of the apartment to you upon your arrival.
Please note that, I have just received interest on this apartment, from another family, and their dates happens to be the same as yours. I have not replied them because you showed interest first. However, I can only hold down my apartments, for clients that have signed my booking agreement form and made payment.
All payments are paid directly to my accountant in my head office, here in Marseille, France, via Western Union Money Transfer or Money Gram.
