Rental Scam [email protected]

Hello there! I came across this site when I realized that I was just a step away from losing $700. Here is the email that was sent to me:

Thanks for your interest and inquiries about my house. I am Donald A Hayfron the owner of the house you are making inquiry of. The house is still available for rent and we are looking for a responsible person/family to occupy and maintain the house. The house will be available for a period of 4 years. My wife and I just traveled to Nigeria for a program Empowering Youth to Fight Racism, HIV/AIDS, Poverty and Lack of Education with Dove Christian Fellowship International. The program is taking place in three major countries which are Uganda , Haiti and Nigeria .

We will be away for a while that is why we made up our mind to put up our house for rent to whom ever that will take good care of it. Please i want you to note that i spent a lot on my property that i want to give to you for rent,so i will solicit for your absolute maintenance of this house and want you to treat it as your own. Utilities include Water,Trash,Sewer,Gas and Electricity. The money is not the main problem but i want you to keep it tidy all the time so that i will be glad to see it neat when i come for a check up. I also want you to let me have trust in you as I always stand on my word. Below is the house description:

Well designed 3 bedroom home with 2 full bathroom, 2 car garage and formal living or dining room. There are great upgrades and features throughout this home. Kitchen is open to the eat-in dining and living area. Island in kitchen with sink/dishwasher, granite countertops, smooth-top stove, built-in desk with granite, window seat in dining area and wood burning fireplace. Master bedroom has his and hers walk-in closets, one in the bedroom and one in the bathroom. Master Bathroom features garden tub, separate shower and double vanity. Secondary bedrooms, 2nd full bathroom and office located off of the living room. Office features French glass… doors. Covered patio with wood privacy fence.
Pets are allowed.

me and my gf were going to be scammed after contacting the person who posted this ad:

because after contacting him he sent my gf the below email, of course when i saw Nigeria, something told me to go and google his number and email it turned out this guy is a professional scammer, he showed photos of the house and everything as you can see in the ad.

thank god i googled him otherwise i would have lost 1000 USD for nothing.
