Hello,

Thanks for the interest shown in my flat. The room is still available and the period you plan to need the room is perfect for me. I would be glad to have you as my flat mate and also explore the city with you.

The room is fully furnished, with a bed suitable en-suited with it's own private bathroom & toilet for your personal use and access to the kitchen, chest of drawers, Table & Desk for study, shelves. It's well decorated with washer, central heating and electric fans, has a WiFI Internet services broadband, reading desk, telephone, and plenty of dresser space also a open view for you to see around the street.

My Flat is located at Ebury St, Westminster, London, SW1W 9Q, UK and the nearest tube station is Victoria tube station which is just a 3 minutes from the flat. A whole lot of places to have fun are just within walking distances from the flat. The transportation link is just about the best you can also have too. It is a reserved area where the
privacy of individuals are also respected.

The rent is 88.00 pounds for a week ,ad 356.00 pounds per Month which includes all council tax/bills like gas, electricity, water,Internet, central heat, cleaner and security (you would not have to pay extra bill) and security deposit of 300 pounds is required which would be refunded back to you after moving out of flat.

You would be sharing the flat with me. Am 27 years old English Female. I work with a Insurance company. I enjoy meeting new people, dining out, seeing experiencing around London with flat mate, learning new things, music, films and writing. I have had
various international room mates in the past and we really got along well.

I wish you a nice time and i look forward to reading from you soon with the information as it would be great to have you in the flat. I would also want you to confirm your interest in renting the room so that we can move ahead from there and conclude plans for the reservation .

Hello,

Thanks for the interest you have shown in my flat. I understand what your point and its no problem if you want to visit the room and pay on the day you want to move in. All i need from you is an evidence of deposit because it is mandatory here in London so that i can be assured you are serious and keep the room for you upon your arrival. With this i will just be

I do not ask you to send any money to me because i do not appreciate collecting money from people before moving into the room as well.. All you have to do is to make the payment to your name or your friend name so that you are still in possession of your cash. What i intend by that is that you would be the receiver yourself or your friend, so that when you arrive, you would view the room or if you want your friend to do the viewing and after you do and satisfies with what you see,i would follow to receive the money so that i can get paid in cash. And if you do not like what you see or hear, you would receive your money and go. I would surely refund the transfer charges back to you if you take room or not, I would only have to confirm on-line if the payment is the after you send the scanned copy of the receipt of transfer to me so i can be confidence in securing the room . You can transfer the money to yourself through Money gram or Western Union. Thanks for understanding and i look forward to hearing from you.

Cheers,
Rosalina.

The thief will tell you that you can rent his accommodation only if you can prove that you have genuine interest. He will ask you send money by wire transfer (normally Western Union) to yourself or a member of the family to show that you have sufficient finances and that you are not a "time waster".

Another variation of this scam is that you need to send (by Western Union) money in order that the keys and other documents can be couriered to you

He will ask you to send him the transfer details.

Make no mistake ! Western Union Transfers can be picked up virtually anywhere in the world and with the minimum of identification. They are almost impossible to trace once the money has been collected. You will never get to see the accommodation or your money again.

If you are reading this because you are looking for property to rent, and you are in contact with this thief you are probably searching Gumtree or similar listing sites. If you receive any requests from 'Landlords' asking for some kind of payment by Western Union before viewing, then it will also be a scam. Please forward the mail to me at the address in my signature line and I will investigate and list them if necessary.
