Utilities is not an issue as i have paid for 12 Months upfront. Kitchen comes with all brand new stainless Steel appliances also with a Washer and Dryer.
Lawn is mowed every week by the community. My house is being listed for rent by me because i am on a Job Transfer to London, UK . it is being rented out for $600 Monthly(Including Utilities) and a deposit of $600 all pets are welcome based on negotiable deposits.I want a tenant who will take proper care of it as if he/she owns it. This person asks for a deposit payment via Western Union or MoneyGram with a promise that you can have the keys to a property that does not belong to him.

Sounds safe. It's not!

At other times, he will ask for proof that you are able to pay the deposit and rent due to a string of time wasters.
This proof is in the form of a Western Union or MoneyGram payment to a lawyer,a friend or family member.

In either case, if payment is made and you give this person the details, they will collect the money.
You will not hear from them again.

If you are reading this because you are looking for property to rent, and you are in contact with this thief you are probably searching Craigslist, Gumtree or similar listing sites. If you receive any requests from 'Landlords' asking for some kind of payment before viewing, then it will also be a scam. Please forward the mail to me at the address in my signature line and I will investigate and list them if necessary.

Hello,Thanks for your reply as I am already in London, UK for my Job Transfer and that was why i wanted you to contact me directly, but you should go take a look at the house from the outside as soon as you can today preferably, If you like my house please do not Hesitate to get back to me to proceed with the rental Process, because i already have people who are willing to pay the deposit.its a minimum of 12 months Lease. Attached to this email below is the Rental Application. Please fill it out and reply immediately.

I was googling this persons name just because I've done business with them and I had to make an account just to comment on this post. I can assure you this person is NO SCAM ARTIST. This is a an unfortunate case of random scammers going on Craigslist and copying peoples information and attempting to pass it off as their own to scam innocent people. This person once had a company in New York and did business at an upscale department store and is a well traveled and respectable individual in their community, I can assure you they have no reason to scam any one. I'm sure that they learned their lesson to never do business of this caliber on Craigslist, Cheaper is not always better. Best to hire a management company and let them handle things for you!!! People are just too strange these days!

Anyone who reads this please know that this is not true. Not at all. I loved their product that they use to sell hoping to buy it again which is why I Google their name to begin with but unfortunately they are no longer in business! :(

Hmmm... this post about Anshu Karundia is NOT about a product. It is about a fake rental. Only scammers require payment by Western Union or Money Gram.

If you are saying that the scammers has also stolen the name Anshu Karundia as well as the description of the property, that is interesting.

If you have proof of this being the case please sent the information to Dotti by Private Message. She is an Administrator here and helps to sort out these issues. Sorry to say, you word is not proof of anything unfortunately. We have people stop by all of the time saying they know that a scammer isn't what they are. Please contact Dotti.

I know this is not about their product. I was simply giving reason as to why I stumbled upon this to begin with. I didn't expect you to take this down just because I commented I was simply putting in my two cents because as per mentioned I've done business with this person and this seems totally out of character for them to do such a thing and personally I believe their information was copied and reproduced for this scam to take place. It happens all the time on Craigslist. This person is not going to jeopardize their name and reputation in such a capacity.

We seem to have some communication issues here.

I believe this part of your statement may have led to some confusion.
Anyone who reads this please know that this is not true.

From time to time, scammers come here and try to claim that posts are not true in order to hold on to victims, and these words could lead some people to believe that this was your intent.

Con Warner's post was true and accurate. A scammer using the name Anshu Karundia and the email address [email protected] has sent those emails to people, trying to scam would-be renters out of their hard-earned money.

He is not, however, saying that the scammer's real name is Anshu Karundia. In reality, these scammers virtually always hide behind fake names--sometimes made-up, sometimes copied from real people. You will see several cases throughout these forums in which we explain this. In this situation, the real Anshu is in the United States, while the scammer using that name is almost certainly in Africa or Malaysia. As you correctly pointed out, a real property owner is going to hire a management company (or an agent). In reality, a property owner isn't going to travel halfway across the world with keys to a property, and then mail them to a stranger!

So to clarify: The scammer is claiming to be an American property owner named Anshu Karundia.
This is the name he is using in his scams. In reality, the scammer is not American, and his name is something entirely different.
