I can see you are interested in my house i posted on Craigslist. I am the owner of the house and volunteer Missioner working for God. I spent less time in the States so I could not get a hold on any Realtor to handle this rent issue, although it was when I knew how long we are going to stay in Africa that I decided to rent out the house. More so, you might see "FOR SALE SIGN"in front of the house do not bother to contact the Realtor because he has been inflating the price and it takes longer to rent i am telling you this in case if you find the "FOR SALE SIGN" in front of the house, that is the old advert. So, i need a tenant to take care of it since i am out of the state now. I have received some proposals regarding the rent because it is located in a very nice area of (Anchorage AK), but I still have to make sure it is rented out to someone who can take good care of it. It includes facilities such as water and heat laundry facilities,air condition,internet and telephone access and a car park and other necessary facilities, also comes with trash collection, pets are allowed as well as long as they are not destructive. So, if you know you are capable of the task, get back to me so that I can provide you with some questions that I would want you to answer. The first month rent is $1000 and refundable security is $600 and total move-in cost is $1600. Pets are welcome in as much they are well-behaved.
Note: I would like you to drive-by the house to view the exterior and neighborhood of the house. Get back to me asap so i can forward you the rent questionnaire.

This person asks for a deposit payment via Western Union, MoneyGram or bank transfer with a promise that you can have the keys to a property that does not belong to him.
Sounds safe. It's not!
At other times, he will ask for proof that you are able to pay the deposit and rent due to a string of time wasters.
This proof is in the form of a Western Union or MoneyGram payment to a lawyer,a friend or family member.
In either case, if payment is made and you give this person the details, they will collect the money.
You will not hear from them again.
If you are reading this because you are looking for property to rent, and you are in contact with this thief you are probably searching Craigslist, Gumtree or similar listing sites. If you receive any requests from 'Landlords' asking for some kind of payment before viewing, then it will also be a scam.
