Hi everybody,
I am looking for a flat in London and surfing in the Internet, I found the web page "Hallolondon.co.uk", which has some nice studios and flats. I sent some emails asking for information about the flats and received nearly the same answer from many different owners (Mabel Smith, Samuel Green, etc.), something I found weird. I googled one of the owners, Paul Gowlerr, and to my surprise I have learnt from this post that his ads are scams. So, as I have also received an email in the same terms as the one from Gowlerr, I was wondering if you could tell me whether the following email is a scam as well:
"Alexander Goodman [email protected]
Hi again,
You can send money from your best friend from your country to your name in London. You can be the receiver for money because you will be in London to meet.
You must go to a western union office (http://www2.ukmoneytransfer.com/agentsearch.asp) with cash and make the payment from your friend name , mother , sister , brother, etc, and keep the money available in account until after you see the flat and rent this, after you make the payment you send me the paper scanned westernunion, attach e-mail, i check to westernunion office and after they told me you have the money available in account i stop the transactions with all the other customers and i keep the flat for you.I come in London for you see the flat and if you like this and rent i make the contract with you and after that we go together back from the westernunion Office and you pick up the money and pay me in cash for the rent and i will give you cash the westernunion transfer fees.
Best Regards"
Are all the ads on this webpage scams?
Thank you very much for your help.
Best
