She wrote back again with a fake picture...now I'm going to start to mess with her.
I responded that parking at this house in rural NM would be an additional $200. LOL

To another scammer, I replied that I didn't think we would be a good match because not only do I work odd hours, but I smoke meth AND crack. haha (lies of course)

If you are going to mess with this scammer, please do not do it with your real email address. That is a very unsafe practice. To learn about messing with scammer learn how by visiting our sister site: www.419eater.com

Messing with scammers is not something to do unprepared. We do not support or encourage messing with scammers here. It is a specialty activity.

I don't think they speak good enough english to understand. I've contacted the local FBI by email to say that I would be directing some fraudulent checks their way if they cared to do anything about it. I'll never see them as I only gave them that address. See below.

Them: Is the room still available for me..? (Seriously????)

Me: Oh, well I don't think I'd be a good match, Patrick/Linda. I smoke meth and crack and work odd hours.

But if you still insist on sending a fraudulent check, you can send it to my mailing address at:

Edited out real address of an FBI office so it doesn't get picked up by a scammer. ITP rule, see below. ~Bubbles

Thanks!

Sadly, bastiak83, having a scammer send a check to the FBI office will not initiate any kind of investigation, even with your email telling them they may be coming to them. The FBI has other crimes they are pursuing with leads they can follow.

Just getting a check in the mail will only take time away from pursuing crimes with leads.

It is good that the checks will be out of circulation, but the FBI will not have anything to go on to investigate. We call that involving an Innocent Third Party (ITP).

I also want to caution you against having forged checks sent to your real life address. It is best to not give a scammer that much information about yourself.

It is BEST to just drop all communication with the scammer. Don't mess with them without knowing and doing it safely.
