i recieved the exact same email today for a phoenix apartment i have for rent.

I got the exact same email for an apartment in Phoenix as well! I communicated a few more times before becoming increasingly suspicious and looked this website up, but when I responded to this email I gave her my phone number (expecting her dad to call me). However I just received a few text from a yahoo user and she said her car would be delivered here and if I could sign for it. That's when it was very strange. But I stopped replying and they haven't sent me any more emails so I hope they drop it if they don't get any response.

I recieved a similary email from AnnMarie Patterson. Total fraud. [email protected]

Asked for room. Sent excessive cashiers checks (fake, of course, scheduled to arrive on Saturday) then first thing Monday morning (before the bank opened) I needed to moneygram her $1799 to Georgia. She was moving from Idaho... And I needed to send the money in two payments, one for $1000 and the other for $799.

Total bogus. Hope this warns "her" next potential victim!
