Vacation rental 212 east 47th Street NYC

Be wary of anyone renting out their apartment at 212 east 47th St , NewYork. I had some relatives fly from Australia who booked an apartment rental at this hotel for 8 nights. When they got to NY it wasn't a hotel at all but a fancy residential building. The workers told my sister it wasn't a hotel and my friends the were not allowed by stay.
They had to go and contact someone else and find a hotel for four people for the next 8 days. Cost them a small fortune.
