Subject: IT COULD BE YOURS
Good Evening,
How are you doing and your family? Hope i am not getting back to you very late about the house you want to rent, I had to leave Hot Springs AR in a hurry due to my work with USAID.
I got your mail regarding our House on Craigslist which was initially for sale but now for rent and no longer for sale. Really Sorry for getting back to you late. My family and i just moved from Hot Springs AR as i already said earlier. We intend would be willing to sell the House if we find a Tenant that would be ready for a lease to own after a year in the house, if not, then we will continue with normal rentals. We have made the monthly rent significantly low and affordable. If you want more photos of the House, let us know. I am currently working as a counselor for the United States Aid for International Development (US-AID) here in West Africa. Please visitwww.usaid.gov, you can also support our mission.
Go and have a view of the House and if you love it and ready to rent, we'll have the keys delivered to you so you may go in and see it from the interior. There maybe a possibility we may fly back to Hot Springs AR to finalize the lease with you. So far, we have seen a couple of interested families but we shall rent to the best tenant according to our choice. Here is the address to the house 1311 Akers Road, Hot Springs AR 71901 you can view the House yourself. It is for $400 per month and security deposit of $400. Liberty Oaks Elementary School

This person asks for a deposit payment via Western Union, MoneyGram or bank transfer with a promise that you can have the keys to a property that does not belong to him.
Sounds safe. It's not!
At other times, he will ask for proof that you are able to pay the deposit and rent due to a string of time wasters.
This proof is in the form of a Western Union or MoneyGram payment to a lawyer,a friend or family member.
In either case, if payment is made and you give this person the details, they will collect the money.
You will not hear from them again.
If you are reading this because you are looking for property to rent, and you are in contact with this thief you are probably searching Craigslist, Gumtree or similar listing sites. If you receive any requests from 'Landlords' asking for some kind of payment before viewing, then it will also be a scam. Please forward the mail to me at the address in my signature line and I will investigate and list them if necessary.
