Thanks for your interest in our house.Firstly i will like to introduce myself, I am an Engineer by profession (retired) originally from Fayetteville, North Carolina. I and my wife acquired the house recently and decided to rent out the house but due to our busy schedule,and the fact that we are retired we decided to go on a 3 years voluntary missionary trip in association with Christ embassy to West Africa.
We are looking for responsible people that can take good care of the house in our absence. Our house is still available for rent and the rent includes all utilities(water,electric,gas and etc....).The house is not furnished(but there is microwave,dishwasher,stove and refrigerator) because we have moved our stuff to the storage before we left for the journey.

However,our initial plan was to sell off the house, but the selling was taking longer than expected along with the agents making it more difficult, we later decided to rent it out for the main time so you don't have to worry about the sign you will see on the house or on any website because we are not selling the house anymore.
You will only be able to drive bye the house for now but will not have access into the house until we have sent the keys and documents to you, the requirement for getting the keys and documents of the house is the rent payment and security deposit which is refundable should in case you finally gain entrance into the house after receiving the keys and documents and feel unsatisfied or uncomfortable with the interior,but i am giving you my word that you will love everything about this lovely house.
Please note that your rent starts counting from move in date so you need not to worry about making the deposit payment now and not moving in immediately because all you're doing is securing the house in your favour in order not to loose it to other interested applicants.

This person asks for a deposit payment via Western Union, MoneyGram or bank transfer with a promise that you can have the keys to a property that does not belong to him.
Sounds safe. It's not!
At other times, he will ask for proof that you are able to pay the deposit and rent due to a string of time wasters.
This proof is in the form of a Western Union or MoneyGram payment to a lawyer,a friend or family member.
In either case, if payment is made and you give this person the details, they will collect the money.
You will not hear from them again.
If you are reading this because you are looking for property to rent, and you are in contact with this thief you are probably searching Craigslist, Gumtree or similar listing sites. If you receive any requests from 'Landlords' asking for some kind of payment before viewing, then it will also be a scam.
