Good to read from you with the response to my advert. My Name is James Berger owner of the apartment you want for rent, my place is Located on: (1160 Potrero Ave, San Francisco, CA 94110) with good transport link and available for as soon as you are ready to rent... I stayed with my wife and Kid only few weeks ago before we had to go for a missionary trip in United Kingdom which we will not be coming any time soon to the apartment, i need you to be able fit into my apartment in our absent. My apartment is available for rent at (1600 Dollars) Per Month including Utilities and Appliances and it's available for a short or long term lease which ever you want, my apartment is Fully Furnished & Can Be Made Unfurnished if you want as there is an extra room which can be made as store or second bedroom for you if you need an extra room. We left behind facilities which is included in the rent per month, the kitchen is fully equipped with all Cooking Utensils, Refrigerator-Freezer, Oven Microwave, Dishwasher, Washing Machine, Dryer, Cable, TV, Internet, Central Heating, Stereo, Air Conditioning, Parking and More!.
NOTE: Since am not around to show you the inside of the apartment, you can only drive by and see the apartment from the outside as am with the keys and document here with me, if you are really interested in renting my apartment i want you to get back to me with the application questions filled so i can email you pictures of the interiors and proceed with you renting my place as soon as i confirm your interest with the application filled.I would have loved to send the keys to someone in the STATES but due not staying in the area long enough i don't have anybody there right now to give them to that is why i took them along with me since we are new in the city..... After all is finalize the keys will be send to the address you will be providing in the application below:.

The thief will tell you that you can rent his accommodation only if you can prove that you have genuine interest. He will ask you send money by wire transfer (normally Western Union) to yourself or a member of the family to show that you have sufficient finances and that you are not a "time waster".
Another variation of this scam is that you need to send (by Western Union) money in order that the keys and other documents can be couriered to you
He will ask you to send him the transfer details.
Make no mistake ! Western Union Transfers can be picked up virtually anywhere in the world and with the minimum of identification. They are almost impossible to trace once the money has been collected. You will never get to see the accommodation or your money again.
If you are reading this because you are looking for property to rent, and you are in contact with this thief you are probably searching Gumtree or similar listing sites. If you receive any requests from 'Landlords' asking for some kind of payment by Western Union before viewing, then it will also be a scam. Please forward the mail to me at the address in my signature line and I will investigate and list them if necessary.
