To: Michelle Banks
Hello,
You are welcome to my unit.
Open house commences on the 19th/20th July, you make your reservations right away. It will be reserve and documented.
UTILITIES: Included In the monthly Rent are Electric, Gas, Heat, Water, Air Conditioning, Updated kitchen facilities, microwave, laundry, washer/dryer, Trash, Internet Access, Gym, modern furniture’s, generous closet space, cable/Satellite TV, DVD player, and Parking for one (1) car.
Find attach rental application form.
This is lease procedures below.
You can lease it for month to month, 3months, 6months, 9months, 1year or more...?
Keep in mind that rent includes all of the utilities, heat, hot water, electricity, AC, parking and the use of all of the facilities in the building.
If you intend to proceed further or have it book down, I will send you the lease contract and payment details which state that upon your arrival you do not like the apartment, your rent and your security deposit will be fully refunded. I do give my tenants who do not have the opportunity to view the apartment before making deposit, so even signing the lease contract and making deposit only secure the apartment, but it does not tie you down to the contract if you wish to cancel the contract upon arrival.
As soon as payment is received, a receipt will be issued and post to your address together with the key to the apartment, and a copy of the receipt will be given to the doorman with a copy of your lease agreement which you must have filled and return back to us. So it is very important that when coming you should come with your receipt so that the doorman can give you access to your apartment, and also you will fill out the lease form and send back to us as an email attachment or via fax copy.
But you can book it down now to be available when you arrive or you might loose it to someone else that book it before you.
If you intend to proceed, get back to me so that i can send you the lease paper work to fill and sign with the reservation details.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Regards,
Collins
The thief will tell you that you can rent his accommodation only if you can prove that you have genuine interest. He will ask you send money by wire transfer (normally Western Union) to yourself or a member of the family to show that you have sufficient finances and that you are not a "time waster".
Another variation of this scam is that you need to send (by Western Union) money in order that the keys and other documents can be couriered to you
He will ask you to send him the transfer details.
Make no mistake ! Western Union Transfers can be picked up virtually anywhere in the world and with the minimum of identification. They are almost impossible to trace once the money has been collected. You will never get to see the accommodation or your money again.
If you are reading this because you are looking for property to rent, and you are in contact with this thief you are probably searching Gumtree or similar listing sites. If you receive any requests from 'Landlords' asking for some kind of payment by Western Union before viewing, then it will also be a scam. Please forward the mail to me at the address in my signature line and I will investigate and list them if necessary
