Rental Scammer - [email protected]

We have received the exact email but his name was different this time. lucky we were smart enough to start asking detailed questions before deciding to send any money to him. After asking so many questions he stopped responding to our emails. Pasted down below is the emails he sent us as well as the detailed email we decided to send him and received no response.

I want you to know that I'm satisfied with your profile and also believe i can trust in you because i will not like to experience what i experienced from my last tenant again, i showed your profile to my wife and daughter,they said they are good with it. We are very glad that you like us already it means a lot to us. We would like to look at the house first before placing a down payment on the home. We were also wondering what utilities were included in the home? Also how much are you looking for ball park wise to for the down payment and for us to get the keys. The soonest we would be able to comfortably send you the down payment is the 20th of July, maybe the 6th of July depending on how much your looking for. If you could tell us the minimal amount you would accept and how much you would like to receive? With this down payment will that be going towards the deposit on the home? Or are you asking us to go ahead and send you the deposit for the home? Really what I am asking is what are we exactly paying for with this down payment?

He posted this listing on a site craigslist.org. When I went to look at the posting again it was already removed from the site which raise suspicion in us. I am very glad I found this site, because after looking at google maps I found that the address was wrong for the house pictures that were posted. As well as when I typed his phone number into google your site appeared. We are very grateful for being smart and researching this man before going further into the snake pit.
