should this site be checked for fraud?

i was almost duped/scammed with respect to a ppty listing on the airbnb.com site...
do you think this site should be checked for fraud?
i really dont know what to suspect/think cos both ppties that were offered were got from this site.
would like to hear views on this

The site www.airbnb.com appears to be legitimate. The site has a twelve year registration and the registration details match the claimed business address in California.

Was all of you communication witgh the scam artis through the site or did they move you to direct email contact?

Please post the emails from the scam artist along with the email address they used and I will take another look.

i sent to ur personal email the conversation thread between me and james
i see also that i got the email from guesthousenetwork and they referred me to him. but he says its listed on airbnb and he still has some more on the site.
