If it is, it was actually well thought out:
=================================
Hello,

If possible, I would like to see the room for rent and meet you. My name is Joy. I just moved to Pensacola, I just arrived yesterday, from Milan, Italy, I'm originally from Philadelphia, PA, but based in Los Angeles, CA!!!! I have been offered a full-time faculty position at UWF and I am in need of a mature, quiet housing situation as close to UWF as possible. I am female, 29-yrs-old, working professional, very domesticated, cook and clean a lot, non-smoker, very busy (I work 70-80 hours per week) and I spend all my free time either at the gym or at home I spend most of my time in the kitchen. Please let me know if you are interested in meeting. My cell is (removed) . Thank you

Sincerely,
Joy

* There is a UWF in Pensacola
* A reverse search on the phone # shows it is in Philly
However, if she's only been offered a faculty position, how could she know it would be 70-80 hours per week? And besides, 70-80 hours for a faculty position? Plus, I identified as male in the ad.

While caution is always advisable, I see no significant indicators of scam.

She could be continuing her outside work in addition to teaching, which could explain the hours.

For now, I have removed the phone number and email address since there is no evidence of scamming, but if it changes direction, the info can be added back in.

Thanks. I think it was mainly the overseas location that set my radar off. Didn't think to research name and locations. Thanks for masking the personal info :)
