Hello,

My name is Marijse Trijntje, I am 41 years old woman and I worked as a civil lawyer in Amsterdam. My contract period there expired and now I've moved in London, United Kingdom where my husband was born and I've opened my own lawyer office here. Due to this fact, I can rent the apartment from 1 month up unlimited time.
The apartment is located in zone Oud-Zuid, Eerste Jacob van Campenstraat 17, floor 2, 1072 BS Amsterdam. It has 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, kitchen and has 72m. The apartment is fully furnished and fully equipped!
I want to rent the apartment because I tried to sell it but I could not obtain a fair price due the financial crisis, so I've decided together with my husband to rent it.
The price for rent 1 month is EUR €370,00 with no extra costs and also includes all the utilities.
As I said before, I am in London now because I live here and I am the only person who has the keys and the papers of the apartment, but I have a solution to solve this problem, so you can move in the apartmentas soon as you receive the keys.

The thief will tell you that you can rent his accommodation only if you can prove that you have genuine interest. He will ask you send money by wire transfer (normally Western Union) to yourself or a member of the family to show that you have sufficient finances and that you are not a "time waster".

Another variation of this scam is that you need to send (by Western Union) money in order that the keys and other documents can be couriered to you

He will ask you to send him the transfer details.

Make no mistake ! Western Union Transfers can be picked up virtually anywhere in the world and with the minimum of identification. They are almost impossible to trace once the money has been collected. You will never get to see the accommodation or your money again.

If you are reading this because you are looking for property to rent, and you are in contact with this thief you are probably searching Gumtree or similar listing sites. If you receive any requests from 'Landlords' asking for some kind of payment by Western Union before viewing, then it will also be a scam. Please forward the mail to me at the address in my signature line and I will investigate and list them if necessary.

How to make payment?
 

1. Make the transfer with cash using the above RealEstate Company Bank Account
 
2. When the transfer is made, you need to send the following information to this email:
  
- Sender's Name and Address
- Paper scan of the bank
- Amount sent

The seller delivers the package to RealEstate Company agents for full evaluation of content. The package will remain in the company's custody until the receiver will send the transfer through a Bank Tranfer. After verifying the funds, RealEstate Company is ready to ship the parcel to the designated address.
