Hello,
Am pleased you are interested in our lovely home for rent. I am Evangelist David M Bahr the owner of this home, my family resided in this home, we moved out due to the nature of my profession on transfer,where I work as a volunteer with Evangelical Council of Financial Accountability (ECFA) West Africa. (www.wycliffe.org) Accompnied by my wife who is a missionary's dealing with Bible Translation and literacy worldwide.
As soon as we got settled here I decided selling the house,i contacted an agent regarding the sale of the house, after due consideration my wife and i decided not to sell the house because we love and cherish our house,so we requested for the keys and documents from the agent we contracted previously. Later we decided to have the house rented out.
We are very much interested in the absolute care of our property,thats the reason we are renting it out at an affordable price its also an incentive for our potential tenant,all we need is a tenant who can take good care of the house. We will be serving for a long period(minimum 5years) of time presently our home is locked up, we live a new home here which we will stay for the duration. Presently our lovely home is available for rent at ($455)as first month rent and ($455)for deposit which includes the utilities such as washer,dryer,water,internet and gabage. Presently we on Retreat program here,please be reminded that our major criteria is a very honest and neat person,so i will solicit for your absolute understanding and maintenance of this house,we will appriciate if you treat the house as if it were yours,i have the keys and documents here with me which will be sent to any responsible,reliable and interested tenant via FedEx after we must have reached a conclusive agreement further more,there are certain processes as my potential tenant expected of you to undergo before i would be willing and convince to rent my house to any tenant since am not in the states to run proper screening. We are not so keen about the money our priority is the proper care of our property. I am renting based on trust thats the more reason i require someone who appreciates moral value and intergrity.

This person asks for a deposit payment via Western Union, MoneyGram or bank transfer with a promise that you can have the keys to a property that does not belong to him.
Sounds safe. It's not!
At other times, he will ask for proof that you are able to pay the deposit and rent due to a string of time wasters.
This proof is in the form of a Western Union or MoneyGram payment to a lawyer,a friend or family member.
In either case, if payment is made and you give this person the details, they will collect the money.
You will not hear from them again.
If you are reading this because you are looking for property to rent, and you are in contact with this thief you are probably searching Craigslist, Gumtree or similar listing sites. If you receive any requests from 'Landlords' asking for some kind of payment before viewing, then it will also be a scam. Please forward the mail to me at the address in my signature line and I will investigate and list them if necessary.
