Whenever i traveled like that, I make use of house agent or a friend
of mine over there but they cheated a lot on my tenants and my tenants
complains alot about that. Thats is the reason why i took the keys
along with me because i dont want my apartment to be used anyhow in my
absence.

This person asks for a deposit payment via Western Union, MoneyGram or bank transfer with a promise that you can have the keys to a property that does not belong to him.

Sounds safe. It's not!

At other times, he will ask for proof that you are able to pay the deposit and rent due to a string of time wasters.
This proof is in the form of a Western Union or MoneyGram payment to a lawyer,a friend or family member.

In either case, if payment is made and you give this person the details, they will collect the money.
You will not hear from them again.

If you are reading this because you are looking for property to rent, and you are in contact with this thief you are probably searching Craigslist, Gumtree or similar listing sites. If you receive any requests from 'Landlords' asking for some kind of payment before viewing, then it will also be a scam. Please forward the mail to me at the address in my signature line and I will investigate and list them if necessary.

I have encountered this scammer today. He posted on Craigslist Munich for the rental of an apartment at Zum Künstlerhof,14 which he claimed that he had inherited from her late mother, as in the mail above. He sent me pretty much the same text, except that he changed Rome to Munich.

Watch out for this scammer! He sends beautiful photos of the apartment and creates a perfect story.. Thank God that his English is somewhat suspicious..

He is a busy boy. I found him today posting same crap on Jerusalem Craigslist Rooms and Share section.

Body - this is well furnished and fully decorated one bedroom apartment for rent in the city of Jerusalem, i is located in the centre,2 mins walking distance to supermarket and its located in good and nice area in Jerusalem.if you are interested contact me for more and useful information such as location, picture, description.

I hope no one else would be scammed by him again, so I decided to post this here to warn everyone.
