Hello, I have receive your message with interest regarding my one bedroom apartment, but I am currently in Philippines at the moment for some personal issue which is why I have decided to rent out this great and unique apartment to anyone who would understand. Its possible for me not to be able to do any form of viewing as I am with the keys and documents to the apartment here because I wish to rent the unit myself and get to know my potential tenant myself which means no manager would be involved in the rental because of the extra fee they charge and how they prolong issue's like this due to their own selfish interest and the gain they' l make on the additional fee they will put on the rent, if this is okay by you I would advise you drive by to view the exterior of the building and get back to me for pictures and more details if you love the location. here is the address: 90 Kent Street, Brookline, MA 02445, Rent is $700 per month

The one bedroom apartment is located in a very peaceful and cool environment, comes with heat, water, hydro, cable and electricity security deposit is $700 which is refundable at the end of your stay if nothing is damaged from my properties

Let me know once you have driven by,
Regards

This person asks for a deposit payment via Western Union, MoneyGram or bank transfer with a promise that you can have the keys to a property that does not belong to him.

Sounds safe. It's not!

At other times, he will ask for proof that you are able to pay the deposit and rent due to a string of time wasters.
This proof is in the form of a Western Union or MoneyGram payment to a lawyer,a friend or family member.

In either case, if payment is made and you give this person the details, they will collect the money.
You will not hear from them again.

If you are reading this because you are looking for property to rent, and you are in contact with this thief you are probably searching Craigslist, Gumtree or similar listing sites. If you receive any requests from 'Landlords' asking for some kind of payment before viewing, then it will also be a scam. Please forward the mail to me at the address in my signature line and I will investigate and list them if necessary.
