First of all if you want to rent the apartment you need to pay 1 month of rent + 1 month of warranty ( $540 + $540 = $1080 ) ! ( but that month of warranty you will receive back after you finish the contract ) !
If we decide to proceed with this transaction, I will have to contact NEWCO Real Estate (http://www.newcorealestate.tk ? website reported) and provide them all the necessary information, so they can start the process right away.
I will need your full name and address for that. You will receive a notification from NEWCO Real Estate shortly after that, together with all the instructions to follow and the invoice as well.
Regarding the payment, you will be instructed to deposit the money to NEWCO Real Estate. They will hold and insure your money until you check the apartment and decide if you want take it or not.
That is how their buyer protection policy works. As far as my concerns, I will be glad to know that NEWCO Real Estate has the possession of the money during the delivery period. That is my insurance. As soon as the funds have been deposited into their account, they will immediately start the shipping process.
The keys and rental contract will be delivered at your address in no more than 3 working days. You will be given a five days inspection period from the day you receive the keys and contract at home. If you decide to hold the apartment, then you will have to authorize NEWCO Real Estate to release the funds to me, and the transaction will be completed. If you will not be satisfied with the apartment, you will be able to send the keys and contract back through the same service and ask NEWCO Real Estate to return the funds to you. Through I am sure you will love the apartment, it is good to know that you do have this second option available. If you wish to proceed with renting the apartment, please provide me your full name and address so I can initiate the deal through NEWCO Real Estate right away.

This person asks for a deposit payment via Western Union or MoneyGram to an escrow company with a promise that he will send the keys through a courier company.

Sounds safe. It's not!
These companies do not work this way and the website he directs you to is a fake company.

At other times, he will ask for proof that you are able to pay the deposit and rent due to a string of time wasters.
This proof is in the form of a Western Union or MoneyGram payment to a lawyer,a friend or family member.

In either case, if payment is made and you give this person the details, they will collect the money.
You will not hear from them again.

If you are reading this because you are looking for property to rent, and you are in contact with this thief you are probably searching Craigslist, Gumtree or similar listing sites. If you receive any requests from 'Landlords' asking for some kind of payment before viewing, then it will also be a scam. Please forward the mail to me at the address in my signature line and I will investigate and list them if necessary.

We have been busy but we have confirm the parcel today.

I just received the keys and the lease contract agreement today, and i will be available to work with you.

Your Landlord inform our agency that you have paid him the sum of, Five Hundred and Forty dollars. That is a very nice step.We as the realtor to this company have called the Landlord protection agency of the building and confirm that Mr. John Touma is the owner of the apartment as this is the first step from our company.

We have also spoke to the Landlord Protection Agency over there and we have inform them that we will be bringing you to the apartment.We are faced with a little problem but we are sure you will be able to handle it.

We were informed that before anything the building request that a new tenant must meet up with the required first month and last month rent.Since all payment will be sent to your landlord.We will advice that you send the 2 month rent to him today so we can schedule the viewing and handling of keys with the lease to you.

For the first and last month rent you will pay $1500 to your landlord and keep the reciept for the payment so you can show us when we meet at the building tomorrow.The reason for this payment was stated that a letter of authorisation will be sign by the landlord protection agency and if you cannot meet up with the payment then you are not eligible.They also state that the building is well reserve and maintained by the Landlord protection agency.The first and last month rent will guarantee you been able to pay the montly rental fee without problem in the near future.

When we see i would get to show you all documentations regarding change of tenantship, so that you can sign them.

I would be available soonest, so i would like you to discuss with your landlord and while coming to meet me, you would make available either the receipts for the months rent or western union transaction papers which states the amount of each payment you have made to him.

I requested info for a rental property on trulia and this guy: [email protected] responded. Let me tell you tho there's two active listings with the same address but much different rent amounts. I've contacted both listings and the actual listing agent is actually having an open house at this property tomorrow. Some people are just ridiculously shady.

As you can see our rental fee is below standard this shows we aren't really bothered about the rental fee rather our most priority is your assurance in being able to keep our home in good condition always.I know there is no way I can be sure that you are the right person to live in our home cos we won't be able to see in person before shipping the keys and documents to your present address for you to occupy the house at your convenient date.But we are going by trust here with whatever you tell us about your self and previous rental experiences .You can get back to me if you are truly interested, by telling me more about yourself,your previous rental experience and the time you wish to rent our home .I await your reply ASAP.

As long as you didn't give any banking information, there isn't anything the scammer can do with your name. If you are concerned, you can monitor your bank account. MochaBear34, what you received is a script from a scammer using the name John Touma. Nothing this person tells you will happen in a way that will be positive for you. It is all set up for the scammer to take money from you.

Drop communication with him and move on from this scam.
