Thank you for response to my listing, I'm the owner of the apartment you are making inquiry of. I was residing in the apartment with my family but presently we had moved due to my promotion that came with a transfer from my church where i work as a missionary with the General Board of Global Ministries of the United Methodist Church International, I am presently serving as Area Financial Executive (AFE) with the United Methodist Church. I have been transfered to Vernon Ohio where i now live with my family, my daughter and my son but i lost my wife long ago. Thought of selling off but my kids where against it so we had to put it up for rent and presently my House is still available for rent and I'm willing to rent it out to a wonderful family that will take good care of it as if it were theirs. I will always be happy when i visit and see the house well taken care off, which will show that i dint make the wrong decision of renting it out.. It include the Utilities such as Dishwasher,Fridge , Stove ,Assigned / Secured parking ,Fitness facilities ,microwave , Washer , Dryer , Cable /Satellite ,Internet connectivity ,Storage locker,Fireplace,Packing, I have my furniture in the house thus if you which to move in with your furnished items, no problem, you can put mine in the store. As you can see that the asking price we are offering is far below standard market price this is enough for you to know that we are not after the rental fee but the absolute care for our property. I know there is no way i can be sure that you are the right person to live in the house due to the fact that we won't be able to meet in physical before sending you the keys and the documents to occupy the house. But i just have a feeling that anyone who knows what it takes to put such a structure down should know that maintaining a building is mandatory, so if you believe you can take good care of the house and handle it like yours, then i will be more than happy to let you rent the house.Please i want you to note that i'm a kind and honest man and also i spent a lot on my property , i will want you to take absolute care of my House and I want you to treat it as your own, i will be glad to see it neat when i come for a check up.I look forward to hearing from you asap. This person asks for a deposit payment via Western Union, MoneyGram or bank transfer with a promise that you can have the keys to a property that does not belong to him.

Sounds safe. It's not!

At other times, he will ask for proof that you are able to pay the deposit and rent due to a string of time wasters.
This proof is in the form of a Western Union or MoneyGram payment to a lawyer,a friend or family member.

In either case, if payment is made and you give this person the details, they will collect the money.
You will not hear from them again.

If you are reading this because you are looking for property to rent, and you are in contact with this thief you are probably searching Craigslist, Gumtree or similar listing sites. If you receive any requests from 'Landlords' asking for some kind of payment before viewing, then it will also be a scam. Please forward the mail to me at the address in my signature line and I will investigate and list them if necessary.
