I DR Norbert M Janc the apt and also it is situated at (32 Montclair Ave Montclair, NJ 07042) and also want you to know that it was due to my transfer that makes me and my wife to leave the apt and also want to give it out for rent and looking for a responsible person that can take a very good care of it as we are not after the money for the rent but want it to be clean all the time and the possible tenant will see the apt as his or her own... We are going to be gone for 2 years or more.

We have left the Montclair, NJ and we are currently in West Africa for our missionary call.. Before we left the Montclair, NJ for West Africa , we look for a reputable agent that will take a very good care of the apt while we are away but could not found any so we left with the apt keys and document when leaving. If you will be the right tenant to our apt, we will get the keys and documents of the apt sent to you via courier services as soon as all terms are settled. I will be online through out to get back to you as soon as you are able to get back to me. I would want to know how soon you would want to move in as I will be taking a 1 month upfront payment for the apt including all the utilities there. I am asking for $700 and I believe we should be able to help ourselves. I am accepting $700 because I want you to take a very good care of the apt while I am away.

This person asks for a deposit payment via Western Union, MoneyGram or bank transfer with a promise that you can have the keys to a property that does not belong to him.

Sounds safe. It's not!

At other times, he will ask for proof that you are able to pay the deposit and rent due to a string of time wasters.
This proof is in the form of a Western Union or MoneyGram payment to a lawyer,a friend or family member.

In either case, if payment is made and you give this person the details, they will collect the money.
You will not hear from them again.

If you are reading this because you are looking for property to rent, and you are in contact with this thief you are probably searching Craigslist, Gumtree or similar listing sites. If you receive any requests from 'Landlords' asking for some kind of payment before viewing, then it will also be a scam. Thanks for your interest.I must confess that I am very very new in this landlord business. I own the 3 beds 3 baths house located at 96 Inwood Ave, Montclair, NJ 07043 and it is still available for rent. I want a responsible person or family who are neat and also believe that they have all what it takes to take care of the house as if it where there own. Please be informed that i am renting out the house because I was transferred from my place of work to Albany ,New York and I came over with my lovely family.We will be here for 4-5 years. I work as a Robotic Programmer & Welder/Fitter and am blessed to be married to a lovely wife who is a member of Joyce Meyer Ministries.

We wanted to sell the house since we will be staying longer than we thought so we searched for an agent and getting upon getting one we stroked a deal but later my wife advised me not to sell the house anymore. I reasoned with her and accepted her advice so we contacted the agent back and requested for our keys and documents and put it for rent since we will back in the next 4 to 5 years. We would have given the same agent this job also but the truth of the matter is that the agent was asking too much of an agent fee and also made the rent high. We were not getting the responses we needed so i decided to terminated our contract with them and put it up for rent ourselves. If you notice, you will discover that the price we are offering is far below standard price and this is enough for you to know that we are not after the rental fee but the absolute care for the property. The house is available for as long as you want with a security deposit of $900 and rent of $980 which include utilities such as Air Conditioner Dishwasher Walk-in Closet Refrigerator Vaulted Ceilings Washer/Dryer Cable etc are all included in the rent.
