This so called landlord from maastricht is now laughing at me in the UK with my money.
No fool like an desperate for accommodation fool.
Was contacted by this person via an ad on respectable student site (erasmate). Seemed ok, but missed the western union bit because was placated by proper seeming lease. Also checked the 'electoral' roll in UK against mother's details, but that just told me that someone between 50-60 lives there. That semi tied in with it being this persons mother. The address is ok and in use.
So, I'm flying back to UK with my tail between my legs, not being able to study at Maastricht University and feeling stupid, embarrassed and very angry!!
