0h!I almost forget to introduce my self..Briana Richardson, female,in my 20's .Am a student in the university of London(England) studying economics.Have been staying alone in the apartment since over two years my father passed,Mom move to California(USA) to manage of my father's asset. This apartment is one of the valuable asset my late father left behind and that is why i am handling this and taking adequate measures to make sure i admit a responsible person as a tenant while am in London(England).I could have let an agent to manage but couldn't find a reputable one and also becuase i left for school in hurry.I was occupying one of the two bedrooms,so i am renting one out while the second room will be locked should in case i come down for inspection or Holiday...I am with the keys here in London England and will have to send it down there should incase you are interested

I will like to know how many month you wish to stay in my apartment and also how many month you wish to pay upfront. Also,i will be appreciate you telling me more about your self to know who am giving out my room so that we can move forward on the lease agreement contract and sending of keys

Thanks

This person asks for a deposit payment via Western Union, MoneyGram or bank transfer with a promise that you can have the keys to a property that does not belong to him.

Sounds safe. It's not!

At other times, he will ask for proof that you are able to pay the deposit and rent due to a string of time wasters.
This proof is in the form of a Western Union or MoneyGram payment to a lawyer,a friend or family member.

In either case, if payment is made and you give this person the details, they will collect the money.
You will not hear from them again.

If you are reading this because you are looking for property to rent, and you are in contact with this thief you are probably searching Craigslist, Gumtree or similar listing sites. If you receive any requests from 'Landlords' asking for some kind of payment before viewing, then it will also be a scam. Please forward the mail to me at the address in my signature line and I will investigate and list them if necessary.
