Rental scammer : [email protected]

I received the following email from [email protected] after responding to a request to rent a room on Craigslist...

Hi ,

Thanks so much for the mail ,i really appreciate it.. I would have loved to see you and the room before making any plan,but the distance between us is the barrier,also i have lots of things doing right now. I'll love to rent the place from you.

Here is little about me.I'm from Wyoming (US)but i was born in France and had all my education there...I'm a quiet and easy going person. I'm 5"6' straight 27 yrs and single.Never been married.I'm clean, quiet and respectful. I'm an intellectual, patient and a caring person,I have a good sense of humor so you get to laugh often,hope u don't mind?loll ! I swim for fun and sometime play tennis..... I'm not on drugs, I don't smoke and neither do i drink,but i tolerate those who do. I was in my final yr when my mum died,i lost my dad before i was born.I live with my uncle in Durham City (England) for a while and later move together to Wyoming. I work as a cosmetologist for a fashion line (on surgery & prosthesis) .And my next seminar will be coming up over there.I hope to end my current appointments by the end of this week....I'm planning to work on my medical course as soon as i arrive.

I plan to stay for more than a yr .I'm more interested in a long term lease but if you are a short term renter i think i would stay just for a while,like 3 to 4 months till i get another place... However, based on your Ad post i will be making a deposit payment to move in. I must confess I'm comfortable with the cost,its quite reasonable and affordable . I would like to make the payment for the first month ahead of my arrival, and then i will make subsequent payment there after. So I'll client to see you get the payment prior to my arrival date..... More so i want you to know that i will bring over some of my bedroom furniture and most especially my car.Please let me know if there will be room for them.

I am planning to come by 10th of Nov. I will love to know if i can make the payment now via money order or check,so you will get the payment before the end of next week.

I am ready to have your place..My pic will be included in my next mail.

This email is following the same scam pattern of other emails sited here on Scamwarners.com. The verbiage is practically the same as other emails sited on this forum. If you continue to follow up with the alleged rentee, you will eventually receive a bogus check in the mail. Beware! Don't follow up!
