Subject; £92 ? EQUIPPED AND ELEGANT APT/ALL BILLS INCLUDED IN THE RENT. RENT (ISLINGTON,LONDON)

Hi, thanks for your email. The apartment is very much available ,I'll love to schedule a viewing appointment with you so let me know what time is suitable.

Also , as regards the appointment, I've been on a business trip to Glasgow so I left the
apartment in the hands of my flatmate who is now my former flatmate because she moved out 2 days ago. She was unable to pay her rent because she intended staying for a year and half and she had already spent 7 months out of which she owed me 3 months rent .she lost her Dad and she left for Manchester to stay with her family. She's with the key and promises to send the keys to whoever I want her to send it to but I got the keys back from her today. Its very difficult to know who is who and some people pretend to be who or what they are not and that makes me very cautious. In fact they often try convincing me by sending different kind of documents in other to disguise and perpetrate their criminal activities.

I also found out that while I was away, she damaged some of the equipment in the bathroom and some utilities in the kitchen which I didn't have a choice but to fix. So now I've decided to be more careful when accepting anyone into my apartment so I've decided to receive a proof of one month rent payment and deposit. So if you're truly interested in rent this apartment, kindly visit a western union or money gram office around you and have a one month rent and deposit sent to your name i.e you will have your relative ,friend or yourself send the money to

your name . i.e The western union form should be filled in this form;

Sender's name:- Your name, relative or your friend's name
Sender s's Address:- Your address
Receiver's name:- Your name
Receiver's address:- London UK.

After the transaction , do scan the western union or money gram receipt to my email as a proof of payment which I'll also have to verify by calling the customer service. Western union or money gram will charge you a sending fee, I will refund the fee to you whether you rent the room or not.I want you to feel safe with your money and that is why I don't expect you to send any money to me.

You'll be staying with Emily and me so here a little about ourselves.

About myself: I'm British born and i think you will like it here. I love to play chess, swim and i love reading. I am into fashion though. We both work per time as well and we are going to enjoying getting to know each other.

About Emily.. shes neat, focus and studying journalism.. Very jovial and easy to get along with. Laughs a lot and love to meet new people. she is an American and very precise when it comes to handling affairs. She will be moving in soon also and I've attached a copy of western union receipt she made after understanding all I've explained so far.

Feel free to tell me anything you feel you haven't told me about yourself.

NOTE: Rent is 368 pounds per month plus a refundable deposit of 300 pounds

This person asks for proof that you are able to pay the deposit and rent (for a property that he does not own) due to a string of time wasters.
This proof is in the form of a Western Union, MoneyGram or bank transfer either to him, his lawyer, your friend or a family member.

Sounds safe. It's not!

At other times, this person asks for a deposit payment via Western Union or Moneygram with the promise that they will send the keys through a courier company.

In either case, if payment is made and you give this person the details, they will collect the money.
You will not hear from them again.

If you are reading this because you are looking for property to rent, and you are in contact with this thief you are probably searching Craigslist, Gumtree or similar listing sites. If you receive any requests from 'Landlords' asking for some kind of payment before viewing, then it will also be a scam. Please forward the mail to me at the address in my signature line and I will investigate and list them if necessary.
