Hello,

How are you doing?thanks for the mail.
I'm contacting you as regard the room which is available for rent/share.
But firstly,i will like to introduce myself.

I;m Samia,25yrs old, half Kuwaiti/half Spanish. an easy going type of person, tidy, non smoker.

The house formally belong to my late father,(Mr Thomas Rahman) who worked
with the Spanish Embassy here in Denmark until his death and he has passed
it to my mother through his will. But my mother and siblings relocated to Murcia(Spain),shortly after the death of my father.

The apartment is a two-bedroom apartment,I'm occupying a room in the apartment, and I'm working with Mj Constructions (as a young engineer)here in Copenhagen
and so i travel some times training and seminars as part of my company's policy,i also attend language classes when am not working.

The apartment is located at Nordborggade 7, 2100 København Ø, København, Denmark,
The house is in a cool and quiet vicinity I'm sure you will like it.

The apartment has Washing machine, Dryer, window blinds,Bed spread, TV connected to cable for
international TV stations, Internet Connection via wireless, LAN and stations, Internet Connection via wireless,

LAN and Broadband for your computer if you have one..

The apartment is well furnished and it has mini parking space that can only take 2 cars.
So there will be no need for you bringing inn any furniture.

Minimum duration in the apartment is one month and long term stay is welcome as well.
The price for the apartment is 2,900 DKK for monthly rent..(all bills included).
The Security Deposit.is 3,000 DKK.(though it will be refunded back to you on your move-out date).

The mode of payment will always be in cash but your first payment will be paid directly to my family Lawyer presently in Murcia
for proper procedure/documentation.

If you wish to rent or secure the apartment, you will have to book for it as soon as possible so that it
can be reserved for you or for your selected date.

So if you are still interested in sharing my apartment with me,let know a few more things about you before we proceed.
I await your reply.
Best regards
Samia

This person asks for a deposit payment via Western Union, MoneyGram or bank transfer with a promise that you can have the keys to a property that does not belong to him.

Sounds safe. It's not!

At other times, he will ask for proof that you are able to pay the deposit and rent due to a string of time wasters.
This proof is in the form of a Western Union or MoneyGram payment to a lawyer,a friend or family member.

In either case, if payment is made and you give this person the details, they will collect the money.
You will not hear from them again.

If you are reading this because you are looking for property to rent, and you are in contact with this thief you are probably searching Craigslist, Gumtree or similar listing sites. If you receive any requests from 'Landlords' asking for some kind of payment before viewing, then it will also be a scam. Please forward the mail to me at the address in my signature line and I will investigate and list them if necessary.

Welcome to ScamWarners LauraB, I am sorry you got caught in the scam. First thing you should do is see if the funds have been picked up. If not, reverse the transfer. If they have, there is nothing your can do about that.

Regardless, you should stop all communication with this person. There is NO apartment/flat for you. Only money to the scammer. Don't tell them about our site. Just disappear. He will move on.

It is important to remember that there are Recovery scams where the scammer poses as someone who can get your lost money back. That is not possible either, no matter what assurances they give you.

We are glad you found out site and could help you not get in deeper.
