The rent is 88.00 pounds a week and 356.00 pounds for a Month which includes all council tax/bills like gas,electricity,water,Internet,central heat,cleaner and security(you would not have to pay extra bill) A refundable security deposit of 300 pounds is required which would be refunded back to you in full after moving-in. Payment might not be the same during the Olympics.

You would be sharing the flat with me alone for now. Am a 28 years old female. I work with a Insurance company. I'm very sociable open-minded and outgoing, yet considerate and tidy, and looking for someone, peaceful and friendly, male or female. I have had various international room mates in the past and we really got along well.

If you don't understand this is how you would do about the transfer. You would have go a western union office and make the payment to YOURSELF (not me). What i mean is that you would be the receiver yourself. This is how the transfer process would be. You would have to go to the western union outlet office with someone either your Friend or one of your Family with a valid ID as well.

By doing this, your money is 100% safe since you are the only eligible to receive it here in London. I do not ask you to send any money to me because i do not appreciate collecting money from people before moving into the room as well.. All you have to do is to make the payment to your name so that you are still in possession of your cash. I would surely refund the transfer charges back to you if you take room or not, I would only need the scanned copy of the receipt so i can confirm online that you have truly sent the money to yourself so i can be confidence about the room.

The thief will tell you that you can rent his accommodation only if you can prove that you have genuine interest. He will ask you send money by wire transfer (normally Western Union) to yourself or a member of the family to show that you have sufficient finances and that you are not a "time waster".

Another variation of this scam is that you need to send (by Western Union) money in order that the keys and other documents can be couriered to you

He will ask you to send him the transfer details.

Make no mistake ! Western Union Transfers can be picked up virtually anywhere in the world and with the minimum of identification. They are almost impossible to trace once the money has been collected. You will never get to see the accommodation or your money again.

If you are reading this because you are looking for property to rent, and you are in contact with this thief you are probably searching Gumtree or similar listing sites. If you receive any requests from 'Landlords' asking for some kind of payment by Western Union before viewing, then it will also be a scam. Please forward the mail to me at the address in my signature line and I will investigate and list them if necessary.
