I found this page through google, I recieved an email from this person, which made me hesitate on whether or not I should continue communications. How can I be sure that this person is a scammer?

Welcome Nekkiu,

If Michelle has posted this person, there is already no doubt it is a scammer. She specializes in this type of scam and would have verified this before posting.

I can also tell you, without researching this one further, that the response is an extremely typical scam response, and the specific English mistakes tell me that the email was written by an African. The "serious type" is also consistent with a scammer, as well as the immediate request for a total (most likely the scammer intends to send a fake overpayment). It is also unlikely that someone would be working as a nurse and makeup artist--those are two very different skill sets requiring completely different educations.
