Thanks for the reply and your interest in renting my Apartment..My apartment is still available for rent but before we proceed i will like to know more about you and when exactly you are willing to move into the apartment?

The house is situated at Nostitzstraße 10961 Berlin,Germany.The apartment is located in the central district of Kreuzberg and also in a central position of Berlin, close to the U-Bahn stations Gneisenaustrasse and Mehringdamm.. It is a walk away from the friendly Museum, Checkpoint Charlie and the shops and museums of Mitte.

The apartment is Furnished and also comprises Flatscreen-TV, hi-fi, plenty of space for luggage and clothes. The kitchen comes fully equipped with electric stove, fridge, dish-washer, coffee machine, toaster, cutlery, dishes, and kitchenware from wine glasses to frying pans: everything you need for a quick breakfast....A washing machine and a dishwasher are also there for you use. Free WLAN-access (wireless internet connection).

The apartment is 2 separate room and each room in the apartment cost €300 and the whole apartment cost €600 including bills, utility cost of gas,electricity,and internet and the security Deposit is €500 which will be refunded to you on your move out date.

This person asks for a deposit payment via Western Union, MoneyGram or bank transfer with a promise that you can have the keys to a property that does not belong to him.

Sounds safe. It's not!

At other times, he will ask for proof that you are able to pay the deposit and rent due to a string of time wasters.
This proof is in the form of a Western Union or MoneyGram payment to a lawyer,a friend or family member.

In either case, if payment is made and you give this person the details, they will collect the money.
You will not hear from them again.

All the details such as names, addresses, pictures etc. that the scammer uses in order to back up his story, are stolen from elsewhere.

If you are reading this because you are looking for property to rent, and you are in contact with this thief you are probably searching Craigslist, Gumtree or similar listing sites. If you receive any requests from 'Landlords' asking for some kind of payment before viewing, then it will also be a scam. Please forward the mail to me at the address in my signature line and I will investigate and list them if necessary.
