Rental Scammer - [email protected]

Site scam located on: wgzimmer.ch (I have already reported it, and had it removed)
This scammer is especially stupid, as they don't realise they are confusing 2 different cities - Basel and Zurich.

Question for the mods - I want to attach the employment letter, mentioned in the second email, but obviously want to avoid other scammers from being able to use it, if I post the original here. Can I send it to 1 of you to put scam warning text all over it, before attaching it here?

I really appreciate your utmost interest in the rentage of my
apartment. My apartment is fully furnished with all necessary home
utility and necessary kitchen utensils. The apartment consist of a
living room, bedroom, kitchen and a bathroom. So also its not a shared
apartment. Its located in a nice and be-fittting area in Zurich. The
address of the apartment is Petersgraben 50,4051 Basel, Switzerland.

Moreover, the apartment cost 600 CHF per month Including all necessary
utility bills such as hydro, gas, electricity and a High Broad Band
Internet connection etc. while the security deposit is 700 CHF. The
security deposit is refundable when packing out of my apartment
provided there is no damages of any property.

Furthermore, I have attached you some picture of the insight of the
apartment. This will give you a clue to how the insight looks like.
Kindly get back to me in time being so as to make the reservation and
also flag my post for removal. I will appreciate your call so as to

I'm so happy to hear back from you, as you know am not living in my
apartment at the moment and am renting out the whole apartment. i just
got a better contract job offer which make me shuttle from the united
kingdom and the united state with a great institute. The apartment
will be available for maximum of two years, it now depends on how long
you wish to stay in the apartment.

I would have wished to use an agent but the way they manage peoples'
property is very bad, and they use people's house for short term
rental basis.

i want you to take good care of my apartment in my absence and make
sure that all the environment are kept clean and tidy because its a
one bedroom apartment and you will be the only one staying there.

For your assurance that you are dealing with a sincere person, my
solicitor told me to attach you a copy of my employment letter.

For you to get the place reserved we will both sign a rental agreement
contract which will be prepared by my lawyer then i will post the keys
of the apartment and the payment receipt to you via DHL express (1-2
days delivery ) after your deposit payment which is your first month
rent and the security deposit has been confirmed.

I think it'd be interesting to show it, because, having seen a lot of scams, this is the first time I have seen a document like this being banded about. I think it's good for educating people in new ways the scammers are operating (assuming others have also not come across scammers operating like this before!).
