Rental Scammer - [email protected]

I got an email from this person below, they also sent me pictures of themself. I dont know if its her or not

Also, I tracked down her IP address and it said they were located in whittler, california. Obviously fake.

time from the room.

I am a kind and honest person and my mother have spent time and resources a lot on that apartment so i will solicit for your absolute maintenance
of the Room and want you to manage it as your own if eventually you will be the occupant. I want you to promise me that you will not disappoint me at the long run.is that taken?it is not all for money sake but I want you to keep it tidy all the time so that i will be glad to see it neat.

I will like to know where you are from and when you will be coming to the flat? Am confidently assuring you that you will be more than satisfied when you come into the flat while you will have your private bathroom .

It is a definite scam.

The writing tells me this person is African, NOT American. "She" (really the person on the other side of the email is most likely a "he" who just took some photos off the internet) makes key mistakes that give it away.

In addition, the email itself is actually a textbook scam format, and the excuses as to why you can't see the place in person are also a dead giveaway. In reality, a young woman living in New York will make the time to meet the person who might become her roommate.

This scammer is simply stealing money from people through promises of a rental that does not exist.

I had included my phone number when reaching out to the person (won't be doing that again), and got a text in addition to a reply on Airbnb.

It is interesting that this scammer would take efforts to keep their contact information from being picked up by bots and other scammers.

So that the bots which visit this site can find this email address, I am taking out the extra symbols and letters.

I just received the same text described below. The email address that was used for "Ariana M Anzures" was [email protected] (Dec. 5, 2014). His / her language skills used in the email sounded like someone who had learned english as a second language. I was also surprised to receive personal photos.
