Hello,

Home is still available and i am looking for an individual who knows
the worth of what it takes to own a home and could possibly take very
good care of it even if the owner is far away..i am looking to rent
with the perspective of renting to a potential tenant due to my
impromptu work transfer to Alabama.

Per month rent is $880 (Including Utilities) which includes
water, gas, electricity and garbage and it will remain in my name if you
are wondering how that is going to work also a security deposit of $880
(refundable) $200 for each pet as pet deposit (negotiable) and that is
applicable if you have any pet...i am not renting because of the money
involved but rather looking for someone to look after my home while i
am away...also if any repair is needed in the house i will definitely
be the one to pay for it and i am looking to rent for about 1-5years

The Address of the property is :

6165 Brantly Avenue
Castle Rock, CO 80104

Wondering why i am not using a property management company well I was
actually working with a Realtor earlier but noticed he inflated the
rent more than i expected he increased the rent and deposit, and was
trying to extort people off their hard earned money...So since i do not
want anyone defrauded over my property and also because he was
dishonest with his job i decided to get it done myself for safety and
security reasons.

I am not around locally like i said before and i have no one i can
trust locally to help me with showing the interior of the house so you
can check the house through the windows and surroundings and also
Google the address above for more interior pictures and then we can
look at the possibility of you getting the keys to the house so you can
have a closer look as well as other details on phone

This is a lot of situation for me so if you are looking to work with me
as adults and make things work then maybe we can start a wonderful
owner-tenant relationship...looking forward to reading from you again.

Yours sincerely

This person asks for a deposit payment via Western Union, MoneyGram or bank transfer with a promise that you can have the keys to a property that does not belong to him.

Sounds safe. It's not!

At other times, he will ask for proof that you are able to pay the deposit and rent due to a string of time wasters.
This proof is in the form of a Western Union or MoneyGram payment to a lawyer,a friend or family member.

In either case, if payment is made and you give this person the details, they will collect the money.
You will not hear from them again.

All the details such as names, addresses, pictures etc. that the scammer uses in order to back up his story, are stolen from elsewhere.

If you are reading this because you are looking for property to rent, and you are in contact with this thief you are probably searching Craigslist, Gumtree or similar listing sites. If you receive any requests from 'Landlords' asking for some kind of payment before viewing, then it will also be a scam. Please forward the mail to me at the address in my signature line and I will investigate and list them if necessary.
