Room for Rent and other rental scams

This is one of the many e-mails i've got and i believe this is a scam too. This woman(not sure) has send me also her pictures ( not sure if they are real) and she told me to look on Google for her name and her e-mail(in order to convince me that she is not scam). I din't find anywhere her e-mail nor her name, but i believe this is a scam too, because you can make as much emails as you want. This is the e-mail :
Hello,

Thank you reply to the advert placed, I'm happy to inform you that
the place is still available for rent and you are the first person to
contact me about it. I really need to know how soon you want to move
in and number of people. I'm a missionary but I got transferred to
North-Ireland (Saint Patrick's Cathedral Saint Patrick's Close, Dublin
8, Ireland) to serve God and humanity. I have no choice than to
relocate and this is the reason why I want to rent out the units to
someone who is going to take care of the place as if they own it. The
apartment is available for short and long time term lease is also
accepted.

And this is the second suspicious e-mail from the same person:

Thanks for the reply and the information provided. I have forwarded
your mail to my Lawyer and we have both agreed to make a reservation
for you so you dont need to be worried as long as you have promise me
that you will take proper care of my flat just the way it was, so all
you need to pay is the first month rent £350 and the security deposit
of £500 all is £850 and you can rent the flat as long as you want so
far you can pay your rent as at when due. Because right now my husband
and i are not living in the flat again due to my husband transferred
to North-Ireland as a missionary.

However, my lawyer asked me not to collect any money from you as
long as you have not sign a contract neither have i taken you round my
flat so he decided to make a confirmation of your financial ability
before we proceed with the reservation.

Henceforth, my lawyer and i have decided to carry out a simple test
on financial ability to pay for my rent before reservation. I would
not ask you to send your bank statement. At least 1 month rent of 350
GBP and security deposit which is £500 which is refundable after your
1st week stay in my flat, would be required from you to transfer
through the western union. You can make the transfer with your
girlfriend's name as a sender and your name as a receiver to an
address in Brighton and you can as well use my flat address.

Once you have done this, scan the receipt to me and if you do not
have scanner, you may write out the details on the receipt as i will
send it to my lawyer to verify if it's truly genuine and available in
your custody, after verification, then we can proceed for the
reservation and you can easily pick up the money at the nearest
western union outlet when you arrive to my flat, also i will refund
the cost of transfer when we meet.

PLEASE NOTE:

DO NOT MAKE THE PAYMENT TO ME OR IN MY NAME SINCE YOU ARE YET
TO SIGN THE PAPERS AND I AM YET TO TAKE YOU ROUND MY FLAT, WHAT I NEED
IS JUST AN EVIDENCE THAT YOU HAVE THE CASH AVAILABLE IN WESTERN UNION
TO CONVINCE ME YOU CAN AFFORD TO PAY FOR THE APARTMENT AND YOUR
GENUITY. MY LAWYER WILL CALL WESTERN UNION TO CONFIRM THIS AND I WILL
GET BACK TO YOU SO YOU COULD PICK THE MONEY FOR YOURSELF WHEN YOU GET
TO UK AND I WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR THE VIEWING.

I am realy confused and i am also desperate of finding a place to live.. :?:

The short and quick answer, this is a complete scam. He will want you to send a western union payment to yourself or a relative. He will then collect the money and you will never hear from him again.

Never send money via Western Union and then give the control number to someone that you do not know personally.

It is ALWAYS a scam
If the pet seller or shipper asks for money to be sent via Western Union, Money Gram, any brand of gift card. Walmart To Walmart , Zelle , PayPal friends and family option, or mentions Cameroon
