SF Cragislist Scam - 930 Scott

Got this message from a scammer that people have crossed paths with before in SF Craigslist ads:

Thanks for contacting me; My name is Robert Chen and the property manager of the apartment you inquired about; The apartment is a 2 bedroom/1 bathroom, fully furnished(but can also be rented unfurnished), pet friendly and if you care about security this is the place to stay.

Lease term is flexible, month to month, 6 months or 1 year lease term which can be renewed when it expires. The monthly rent is $2,740.00, plus a refundable security deposit of $1,800.00

Utilities (Electricity, water, covered garage parking (1 car), gas, heat and sewer) are included in the monthly rent; the apartment is available now for September 30th 2013 and you can have it secure now for your move in date if you wish.

The apartment is 870 sq. ft., located at 930 Scott Street Unit 6, San Francisco, CA 94115 (Alamo Square). Near Public Transit, Recreation Area Security Guard, Security Patrol.

Available Discount for different lease Terms:

1. SIX MONTHS PLAN: Pay for 6 month rental fee plus refundable security deposit and get a discount of 10% on rent.

2. ONE YEAR PLAN: Pay for one year rental fee plus refundable security deposit and get a discount of 15% on rent.
