just had this a few minutes ago.

We didn't talk about the money transfer yet. As someone who knows most of Manhattan rock by rock as well as real estate prices, hey, this is total bull. My first red flag went up when they say "Chelsea" and list it as "Union Square". Granted, some people are stupid and do it, but quite honestly you can't mix both. Then they say it's near a park (in their ad). There are not too many parks in the area and the only one that fit the description of 5 minute walk to subway is not on Park Avenue. In fact, Park Avenue is not in the area called Chelsea to begin with. LOL.

Although I can see someone from outside to fall for this. Exact same e-mail content, different e-mail address: in my case - [email protected] Phone number was: 347-674-0362

You responded to my Ad as regard the room which I have available for rent,The room is located exactly at Park building,on Park Avenue,is that good location for you?I am the only occupant of the flat and I will want to rent out one of the rooms so that I will not be all alone in the flat and will have someone to take care of the flat while I'm away for work.I am 29 year old professional working female,I am an Oceanographer/Marine Biologist.My rules in the flat is that you must smoke outside if you are a smoker,no party or loud music in the apartment, so as not to disturb the neighbors, you know when we respect them ,they will in return accord us respect too and cleanliness is an order of the day in the apartment.

The room I intend to rent out has it private toilet and bathroom and you will also have a key to your room.We will have to share the Kitchen(though you have access to everything in the Kitchen) and the living room.There is TV and sounds system in the living room and the Kitchen is well furnished.The monthly rent is $850USD with everything included and one month security deposit is required before moving-in.
