i live in manitoba, looking to move to alberta, got this email.

I also received emails from this person about rending an apartment in Edmonton. I got so far as to tell him a bit of information about myself and my girlfriend as well as some reference numbers. We also sent him a picture. There wasn't any vital information sent, just our names and phone number.

He used the name "Alex Paterson" and emailed me from [email protected]

Should we do something, or just ignore this and forget about it? He can't do anything with just our names and phone number and photo, right?

Kinda disappointing, because I knew this seemed too good to be true.
