Possible rental scammer?

Your instinct is absolutely right.

It is a rental scammer.
After you sign the (completely fake and meaningless) agreement, you will be told you have to pay the deposit before you can see the room. Most likely it will be via WU/Moneygram, though occasionally the scammer will ask for bank transfer or a prepaid card.

Of course the scammer has no actual rooms to rent.

I've totally thought that it was a rental scammer at first... And I think, after reading this page I am a 100% positive of that , although I've looked on the Internet about the person that contacted me and he exists, plus he told me that I'll be paying after he handle me the keys, but even though, I don't trust him.

Thank you for the heads up, I received almost word for word the same emails as you have!
there was something fishy about the whole thing, because the person I was in contact with kept on refering to her "lawyer", and she sent me a signed contract, then asking me for the money transfer of the 1st month's rent + security deposit, which is fair, but the bank account wasn't in her name... and it refered to a bank in Ukraine, which made me unfomrtable in the first place (not dealing with a European bank...)
anyway, i googled her "lawyer" and that person has literally no traces in the internet...
I'm kind of screwed now because I don"t have a place to stay in, and I was supposed to move in 1 week from now.

Please post the full email - minus your personal information - that asked the payment to be sent to bank. Include the full bank account information, name of the scammer is using, email address and telephone number is any. This information will help others avoid losing money to this criminal.

Here are the various emails that I received. It was in relation to an offer I found on WG Gesucht for renting a room for 6 months in Berlin.
the name was Vera Buker, and the email address was: [email protected]
she kept refering to her "lawyer", and in the "contract" which she sent me, she specified that the name of the lawyer was Subocheva Dana Andriivna.
Also in the contract, she added:
