Job offer from PTT Oil in Bangkok

After responding to the following email I received a pretty convincing follow up letter, evaluation form and then a terms and conditions. However, when I google the name in the signature it showed up on this site. Should I consider this a scam? Also the email [email protected] is of a totally different domain as the real oil company http://www.pttplc.com Just stinks all over.

It's a definite scam. No legitimate company would send out a long list of diverse job roles, they would produce individual job adverts, either on their own website or on recognised employment portals.

Probable Future Employment Scams

Thanks for the info. I wonder what they are wanting to get from this? They have only asked me to obtain my work visa. What could they use that for?

Have they given you an email address to write to for your visa?

They have no interest in getting your visa, they are only interested in stealing money from you. They will give you details of who to write to for the visa and then you will be charged fees.The email address that they give you will belong to them and they will then ask you for multiple fees for visa and its delivery.

They sent me an email with the visa application and instructions to obtain here on my own.

Well obviously as you can see for yourself . THOSE ARE ALL FAKE EMAIL DOMAINS . WE CAN'T ADVISE YOU ON HOW THEY MAY SET UP THE SCAM .

It was fishy from the work go. An enormous salary but inline with Expat engineering. But they never really asked me much about my qualifications or wanted to discuss the work itself.

I was pumped up. Glad I didn't jump.
