Anyone that you meet online that asks you for money is a scammer. The best thing to do is block him and stop responding.
Please do not tell scammers that they are listed here - it will take them seconds to change their fake details and their new details will not be listed for any future victims to find.

I figured as much. I tried to search his picture through google image but it didn’t bring anything up.
