On behalf of the Organizing and Scientific Committee, the United Nations is pleased to invite you to participate at the 21st session of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change UNFCCC- (COP21) 28 - 31 July, (London 2015). The parties to the convention have met annually from 1995 in Conferences of the Parties (COP21) to assess progress in dealing with climate change. This will be the 21st yearly session of the Conference of the Parties.

Dates: 28 - 31 July, 2015.
Venue: ExCeL London International Exhibition and Convention Centre -London, United Kingdom.
Conference Theme: "Climate prediction and information for decision-making: focusing on scientific advances in seasonal to interannual timescales, taking into account multi-decadal prediction".

The UNFCCC-United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP21) steering Committee welcomes Scientists, climate service providers, High-level policy-makers, Global business leaders,Decision-makers from the public and private sectors, Green visionaries, Academia, IO's and NGO's, Professionals in relevant fields, Women and Youth Organizations, Development Groups, Governmental Agencies, Civil Society Organizations, Community Development Organizations, Donor Agencies and Individuals working in the related field to participate and submit papers and proposals for presentation at the interactive sessions and workshops. Papers should broadly explore the conference theme.

The President of the 69th UN General Assembly, Sam Kutesa, will convene this high-level event, with the aim of giving momentum and adding impetus to efforts to reach a global agreement in 2015 under the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). The conference objective is to achieve a legally binding and universal agreement on climate, from all the nations of the world. Leadership of the negotiations is yet to be determined.

The presentations may be completed research, research in-progress or case studies, especially those reflecting innovative Green building practice. Generally the presentations will consist of a panel of three or four presenters with similar topics. Each presenter will speak for ten minutes and after all presentations are completed the floor will be opened for questions and discussions. You should also have this letter with you when you come through. We will assess participants situation on an individual basis and provide all necessary Visa support and free travel costs sponsorship.

Registration is "free" and strictly for invited individuals and organizations only. As an invitee, you have received a registration code FCCC/COP21-CMP12/2015/LND with the invitation letter, which grants you access to the registration form. Submission of paper abstract may be made via email to [email protected] submissions will be acknowledged within 5 days of receipt. Notification of acceptance of paper presentation will be sent as soon as the reviewing process is completed.
