Hi everyone!

We have just received information advising members of my organisation to send each Euro 150 to a certain Bank in order that invitation letters are sent to attend a forthcoming conference titled "Global Changemakers Summit Barcelona, Spain to be held in on February 6-10, 2012. Is this another scam. The website is

Well is this another conference scam? Seems to be too good to be true as return ticket and accomodation shall be offered. I await for your views.

Thanks

Scam.
In addition to the "too good to be true" feeling (which is absolutely correct):

-There is a real Global Changemakers, and their legitimate website (http://www.global-changemakers.net) does not mention this conference at all. If it were real, it would be posted on their website.
-The blog you were sent is not connected to the real organization's blog.
-The email address is a free gmail address. I would expect formal communication to come from the Global Changemakers domain.
-Once again, the writing itself is a red flag, because it contains typical mistakes of an African author (and the website does not contain this kind of mistake.)
