This Conference Scam claims to be the (NON-EXISTENT) 5th International Conference on Climate Change at the Grand Royale London Hyde Park Hotel.

This scam solicits £300 for conference registration fees. Victims pay money and NEVER GET THE MONEY BACK BECAUSE THE CONFERENCE DOES NOT EXIST!!!

This fake conference is "scheduled" to be held 26 - 30 April 2013 at the Grand Royale London Hyde Park Hotel 1-9 Inverness Terrace, Bayswater, London, W2 3JP, United Kingdom.

This scam's fake website ( http://intccc.org.uk/index.htm ) is in the process of being suspended.

The fake conference claims the following contact information:

This FAKE CONFERENCE offers "Access Grant Scholar Award" grant money for attendees of the conference.

The SCAM claims:

"The Participating Delegates who receive this Award have their all round air ticket, travel insurance and per diem covered by our sponsors and supporters."

NOTE: THE ACCESS GRANT SCHOLAR AWARD does not pay for the conference registration fee!!!

My colleague said he was duped too, just yesterday. Their website is still on and so many people are falling victims daily. Please do your best to suspend it permanently.

My friend received an email form [email protected] stating the upcoming 5th International Climate Change Conference in London, UK. I just want to clarify if it is true that the said conference is a scam/frued? because they already send money for their tickets.

I'm sorry to read that money has been sent to these people.
As previously stated, there is no "5th International Climate Change Conference" in London. The website is a fake and the domain was only registered in April of this year. The contact details on the site show that the scammers are using a redirect phone number. These numbers starting with "070" or "+4470" can be directed to anywhere in the world.
