Second e-mail:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dearest,

Thanks for your email and timely response also the genuine interest you have shown, My family was very happy after we read your mail indicating your interest to work for us.

We really see you as being part of our family and somebody who helps us out with the kids. My wife works a lot on the kids and doing the household takes a lot of time, and we decided that an au pair would help us to give our children more quality.

We Russian fun loving family living in Portsmouth, England and would enjoy it if you are a person who enjoys doing lots of stuff with the kids, coloring in, going cycling, playing outside, reading stories, etc. Our prime objective is to get our children to be happy, independent little beings and this is where we want you to help us. This would also naturally mean that sometimes you would have to help with household chores, because we also enjoy spending time with the kids.

You will be working 5 days a week, with weekends and evenings off. If we want you to look after the kids in the evenings or weekends, we will obviously discuss it with you in advance and with your consent. You will then either get time off later, or be paid for the hours you have worked over time.

Larissa is a friendly little girl, who loves to play with her friends, but can also play alone really nicely. She is a bit shy and checks things out before she participates. Very caring and easy to get along with. She loves singing and dancing and is more artistic I would say. She enjoys being read to and relationship oriented

Albert is very much like Larissa. A friendly little boy. Usually happy with himself and with life as such. He speaks very little, but can make very clear what he wants. He loves toy cars and animals The children are all well behaved and easy to get along with. Obviously they can also throw their tantrums, but I must honestly say that happens very seldom. If they are told to do something, 95% of the times they will do it.

We have dog, also we have squirrels, birds and dear eating in our garden, so if you are someone who loves nature it is almost like paradise.

We will need you to help us with these;

* Help getting children ready for school.

* driving kids to and from school/activities if you can drive or probly we can provide a driver.

* cooking simple meals for them.

* tidying their rooms, putting toys away.

* playing with them

* Take the kids to School in the morning and bring them back in the noon.

The duties I think are well spelt out and simple. You will be entitled to a basic salary of 1,600 GBP, a fully furnish bedroom in the family building with a desktop Intel Pentium IV Computer and Internet Access to enable you communicate with your people.

Actually you will go into contract with my family as an our new au pair, We are willing to incur the expenses of your flight, entrance/visa deduct 0.05% of it every month from your salary until full dept is paid, but it must be on mutual agreement that your name must be Sworn an Affidavit of Guarantee at the British Crown Court before the commencement on your visa endorsement/approval at the UK Home Office, as this is due to our bad experience in inviting an au pair, after we secured her entrance to UK, she arrived and never showed up again neglecting our job, so we were advised by the employment experts to follow up with this policy of Sworn Affidavit Guarantee from the British Crown Court for legal and security purposes.

The Sworn Affidavit of Guarantee is a written form of evidence used in court proceedings. The affidavit sets out the facts as you remember them. In legal matters, the evidence wanted for court to hear about your matter must be in a Sworn Affidavit of Guarantee, Your statutory declaration/statement of fact to abide in this contract will be made as your name is being sworn also you will incur the expenses of that at the crown Court.

I know you might find other families that might pay a bit more than I do, but I honestly believe you will not find another family who will look after you as well as we do and make you feel at home.

Upon your acceptance of the above terms, Please write back so that we will prepare the Contract of Agreement, The Contract letter will be binding this job and also I will give you directives on the procurement of the Affidavit of guarantee by referring you to our family attorney. When they are sorted out, you can then come here to resume your employment.

We are excited to see you join us soon.

Warm regards,

Garry Boris

HELP MEEEEE!! :?
by Johann Meister Thu Oct 22, 2009 9:50 pm
Have you noticed the phone number is a +44 70 one?

This is an anonymous redirecting phone number (also very expensive to call). Nigerian scammers abuse this (free) service a lot to impersonate people living in the UK (bankers, barristers, ...).

Since you have not shown us the headers of the above emails yet, this is no direc tevidence yet but a very very strong scam sign : Why would a genuine au pair person / agency hide their real number behind an anonymous redirector (that passes on phone calls to whereever in the world) ?

Have you googled your chatter´s or "business partner´s" email yet? It might lead you to ScamWarners...

Welcome khrysta! Good for you for taking the time to research this. :=) You're right, this is not how Visas are obtained.

If you have not already done so, please read this topic specifically on Au Pair scams: viewtopic.php?f=34&t=3019

Many of the indicators of scam are contained in these emails you have posted, including the UK re-direct number that Johann mentioned.

Have you sent a payment to a scammer with Western Union and now realize it's a scam? If the payment has not been picked up, you can cancel it immediately! 1-800-448-1492

Hi Khrysta

Please dont reply to them any more, it is best to drop them completely and dont reply again, while they think there is a chance of you sending money they will continue to email you, even from new email addresses to try again under a different identity.

In most cases you will know in the first line if its a scam

"Dear Au Pair"

Take a look at this search on that opening line Click Here you will notice many similiarities in those search results to what you have found, the overwhelming majority will be scammers

is mr. garry boris fake? he send me a contract letter and he did nOt aSk me to send any amount of money.. i want someone to help me to know about the fact of GARRY BORIS
by Dotti Mon Dec 07, 2009 2:47 am
Many scammers don't ask for money in the first couple of emails because they want to win your trust first. I would say that if you are here asking that question, and you were approached directly, and not through a reputable agency, it is most likely a scam, but we can't confirm that without seeing his correspondence.

Please post any emails from him (include full headers if you can and remove your personal information) so we can better help you. Or you can send them in a private message to one of the support team if you are uncomfortable posting them.

The "Garry Boris" khrysta mentioned is certainly fake. It's a very unusual name, and the chance there is also a real person with this name looking for an au-pair is just about nil.

Hi Lyka

Welcome to Scamwarners

The Mr Boris discribed in these posts is a scammer and from what we have seen one of the smarter ones.

I am presuming the email address and emails are the same as posted here, if that is the case then there is no doubt it is a scam.

The best course of action is for you to stop all contact immediately and eventually he will leave you alone.

In answer to your question about why he would call you, that is to make him appear to be a real person and by your post the trick does work.

If you have any information that is not posted here could you please add it to this thread, the more information we have, the better chance we have of saving others from being scammed.

If you have any questions, please dont hesitate to ask

ahhh ok...i have received this email......at first i ask for his family picture he send me 3 pictures.....it makes me believe that he is true....when the time i stop communicating to him.....he send me again an email asking why i have not contacted him for so long.....ask me if i accept the offer if not he will find another....

This is an email from Mr. Boris according to my questions to him about the payment for the processing of the entry clearance that Atty. Garrido send to me....
Dearest,
How are you,i hope fine?Reference to your email,Your are not paying for your Visa/Domestic Workers Permit Documents into the UK,the expenses will be incur by my family, all you need to pay is the Sworn Affidavit of Guarantee fee that will be issue to you by the Immigration Attorney before your entrance papers will be processed by us over here in the UK,

Why it is a mandatory that you must incur the expenses of the Sworn Affidavit of Guarantee is for you to assure my family that you wont neglect our job after processing for your entrance documents with our money due to our bad experience in inviting an au pair, after we secured her entrance to UK, she arrived and never showed up again neglecting our job, so we were advised by the employment experts to follow up with this policy of Sworn Affidavit Guarantee from the British Crown Court for legal and security purposes.

So i believe that the fact is stated clear for your understanding,And you shall be reimbursed by my family for all reasonable expenses incurred by you at the Crown Court in the performance of your duties under this contract, provided that the expenses are incurred with the approval by my family and provided that you produces such evidence of expenditure as my family may reasonably require.

So i advise that you make it a priority to this case,so that this contract will hold.

Thanks and God bless you,
Mr Garry Boris.

Is there any possiblities that i will be in danger if i will be pursuing to this opportunity?........
by Ralph Wed Dec 09, 2009 5:38 am
^^ In danger of losing your money definately.

The email you posted above was almost certainly written by an African, Africans make common errors in writing that those who deal with them regularly can pick up immediately, notice the lack of spaces after punctuation, that is one sign but there are others.

Please try this for yourself;

Open google and do a search on "Sworn Affidavit of Guarantee fee" you will see many examples of scammers using the same ficticious document to try to scam people.

there is no doubt that the person who wrote the email you posted is a scammer.

Please, stop communicating with him immediately, the position he is writing about does not exist, he is trying to steal from you and unless you stop communicating with him he may well succeed
