Dear Au-pair, How are you doing? Hope you are fine. First i will really love to say that your profile which i came across on http://www.nanny-agency.com really interested me and that was what prompted me to write you. I am Andrew Dane an American soldier currently living here in London with my wife and two kids. We are seriously in search of an Au-pair for our children because of our work schedule as we are always busy with our work. I will be very happy to get a reply from you soon with your Resume as i will so much love to receive your C.V in order to know you better and also know your qualifications. I will also love to get your references if you have any. My Skype i.d is danepat2 and i will love to have open communication with you as well. Here is my phone number(+447012974852). I will give you more details about me and the family and also your job details once i receive your Resume and possibly some photos of you. I will also attach some of my family's photo in my next mail once i get your reply. I want to let you know that i will take care of your whole travel expenses once we have concluded and decided on your employment as that is no problem for me.Hope to hear from you soon. I also attached pictures of me. I wish to hear more about the job details and i want to tell you that if you are going to hire me i will do my best to take good care of your kids. Thank you so much Sir and have a good day.!

Dear Au-pair____, How are you doing? My family is okay and thanks for asking. I have read your mail and want to let you know that you have very lovely photos and look cute though. How is your family too? Hope everybody is okay. I have received your C.V and details and will take my time and go through it carefully so i can get to know you better including your qualifications. I will get back to you with some questions which i might have for you on the course of this process as we really need to know you very well before making any decision. I will also give you a call on the mobile no which you attached on your C.V. so we can talk on phone too. However in this mail i attached some of our family's photos, hope you will like them. Dear Officer Dane,

My family is doing good sir, thank you for asking. I went through all the photos attached into your email and i must say that you have lovely kids and seems a wonderful family. So i concluded that their names is Bryan and Chloe. How old are they if i may ask. Thats alright. I understand about the process and that you need to know about me more since it involves your kids before you make a decision. I would be waiting for your phonecall and more questions. Thanks again and have a great day!

Total scam.

Any time you see a phone number starting with 4470 or 44070, you can assume it is a scam, because those phone numbers are not real UK numbers. They are redirect phone numbers--calls to these numbers are automatically forwarded to another number. These numbers are used by scammers pretending to be in UK when they are not--they simply have calls forwarded to their cell phones in Africa or Malaysia.

In addition, the English tells me that the person writing you is not American, but is African.

Ms ___,
your employer has already briefed me on your application and i have made inquiries earlier at the Agency. I want to inform you that Au-pairs from your country are no longer issued visa to come work here in London. The Border Agency advised we should process either a tourist visa or a full employment work visa for you. From my own legal advise, a full employment work visa will be the best and the most convenient due to the fact that it has a duration of 1 year. In respect to the questions you asked in your message, i will forward your whole documents including your international passport copy which you sent to the Border Agency here in London and apply for a working visa for you with the sponsorship of your employer due to your employer informed me that he will take care of your whole travel documents procession. Once i have contacted the Agency, they will contact you on your mobile no and also through your email address. They will be the ones to assist you in processing and approving your work permit and visa. Also your visa and work permit will be processed using your original international passport details which is philippine due to it is still valid until 2014 as you explained. You will not have to renew it for now because if your visa and work permit is been processed and approved, the expiry date will still be the same expiry date with your international passport. If you are considered for a contract extension by your employer, then you will have to renew every of them. But your visa and work permit will be transferred to your current location which is Hongkong by the Border Agency(Home Office) once it has been processed and approved. I require a fast and positive response from you prior to the mail that i have sent you. Barr James Evans

Dear Au-pair __, How are you today? I was so happy to receive your call and i want to assure you that the family will make sure you get the best out of this job. Meanwhile i have contacted our family's attorney concerning your application and he has explained some details to me. He told me that Au-pairs from your country are no longer issued Visa anymore to work here in London. He also explained that the most convenient visa to be processed for you should be either a tourist or a full employment visa. But the most convenient and the best for me in terms of the procession duration and expenses should be the working visa because it also has a duration of 1 year. I want to let you know that i will take care of your travel expenses as that is not a problem for me. All i need from you is your commitment towards this work. I want you to forward your international passport and passport photograph to our family's attorney including your C.V. His email address is ([email protected]). Explain to him that you are from the Dane's family for Au-pair work as i have already discussed with him. Once you do that, then let me know. I will also love to get answers to these questions soon; 1: Do you know how to drive? 2: Do you have a valid driving license?

Best regards from my family and have a nice time!! Officer Dane.

The Family have taken time to discuss the application concerning your employment and we have decided to give you a try but your diligence and commitment to this work is highly needed as that is very important to the family. But first I will love to tell you a little about me and maybe the family as well. My name is Andrew Dane and I currently work here in London under the U.S Army Regiment Special Recruit. I stay with my family including my wife as well. We are a family of 4 including my 2 lovely kids Bryan and Chloe. We need your services here because I and my wife are always busy with work and therefore spend less time with the children as we don't usually attend to them when they need us the most. We are very fond of this kids and want nothing but the best for them. We will need you to try your possible best to form a good relationship with these kids once you come over as they always love getting attached to someone always. They are very fond of friends and playful as well. They love visiting the parks and cinemas during weekends and they also spend most time out in the pool as they love to swim a lot. We stay in the Account quarters, 3rd floor 14 Hanover street, Hanover Square London, W1S 1YH. Your job schedule and details are very simple and we will love you to follow these details as that is also important. You will have to work for a minimum of 25 hours weekly and will be given weekend off. Your duties are just to take care of the kids alone and attend to their immediate needs like helping them in running little errands, help them in bathing, preparing them for school in the mornings and also taking them out for field walks and parks. We will really appreciate your commitment to this work and will offer you 1400GBP for your monthly salary with a weekly incentive of 20GBP for upkeep. Your stay here in London will be for a minimum of 3 months and maximum of 1 year and can be extended depending on your willingness and commitment to the work. Open communication with you will be very important and I will love you to call me anytime you wish on my phone no +447012974852 or you can also call me on the other line which i called you with earlier. I want to let you know that I will take care of your whole travel and flight expenses as that is not a problem for me at all. I will need to get a reply from you soon so we can start making arrangements for your arrival. We have also made arrangements for your bedroom preparation as you will be a live-in Au-pair by staying with us in our family house here in Hanover square. Hope to hear from you soon. Officer Dane

There's absolutely no question that it is a scam. That is a 100% certainty. This is a pretty standard scam, and we see lots of them.

We do not recommend playing along with (also known as baiting) a scammer who has your personal information. If he knows you played with him, he is likely to become very angry. While he is not coming to see you, you do not need him to spoof your email address, use your name and/or photos in future scams, or harass your friends--these are some of the things angry scammers have done.

Just drop all contact with him. If you want to learn more about baiting scammers safely, you can visit our sister site at 419eater.com
