Here are two examples of introductory emails sent by the scammer who calls himself Penny McCarl. The first one shown was sent from:

and the second one was sent from:
[email protected]
Both direct the receiver of the emails to the fake Ocean Travel Agency. The emails from the fake Agency are actually sent by the same scammer who is writing the emails from Penny McCarl. The emails are really sent from the scammer's country of Nigeria, not from the UK.
The scammer is not living in the UK, and does not have an au pair position to offer. His intention is to trick people, and steal their money.

Am Penny McCarl from London (United Kingdom).and I am 48 year old.I work in a garment industry and i spend most of my time at work and my wife work as a missionary so most of the time she travels out on London.Am looking for an aupair who could take care of our two lovely kids Luke and Noah age 5 and 6.They both attend school.
We would love you to be a part of our very happy family. We would love you to settle into our home and help me out with the children. We live in a beautiful area, in our new house with lots of walks around us. We are only minutes from the town so you get the best of both worlds. There are lots of groups/clubs around us that you could join, and aupairs in the area also who will be a good support to you. You would have your own car and weekends off. Our house is new. You will have your own newly decorated bedroom, bathroom, living room, tv, free internet access, own entrance if you wish. Its a large house so you would have your privsacy but are also free to join us at any time. Its up to you really. As i said before we are pretty easygoing. If you had an interest in horses that would be helpful. Mostly so my wife doesn't bor you :-We also have 3 dogs - 2 labradors and a St Bernard, they are beautiful and really gentle.. You would not need to help out with the animals at all but its just good to know that you wouldn't be afraid of them. Basically we love our life, we would like you to be a part of it.
Your working house will be a maximum of 40 hours per week or 8 hours per day with 1½ or 2 full days off per week.So that you can have time for yourself to do all other things here in London.You will have one weeks holiday pay after six months, and two weeks after a year. Also there is a good language school around us so if there is need for you to attend a language class just let us know so that we can make an arrangement for you.
Your salary will be paid per week so you net pocket money will be 350GBP weekly.You will have to eat with us because We don't want to have a Nanny, we want to have a big sister and a little help for the mother and a lot of fun all together.
We are expecting our aupair to take good care of the kids.You will have to take them to school and bring them back.Help them with some of there home work.So your primary duties will revolve around the children.You will be expected to do some light housework e.g,keep the children rooms clean,vacuum,wash dushes.e.t.c .

Hello,I am the proud Mom of 2 beautiful blonde haired, blued eyed boys. Luke is 6 and is Mr. Sassy Pants. I love to just sit back and watch him at times....he has so much of me in him...he loves to argue...always has to have the last word. haha Noah is 5 and he is a (as grampy calls him) "Spring Loaded Monkey Climber". The child goes non stop all day and always is bouncing. I wish I had half his energy!! They are both so smart and such good boys with huge hearts! Due to the busy schedules of me and my husband because of the nature of our jobs the kids most time are left to be with our family friends and sometimes my parents will have to come down here to take care of them which is not convenient and as a matter of fact the family they stay with is living the UK for France in a month's time which has made us to be on our toes to find the very best of person that can take good care of them and the house for us just the way we will.We need a trust worthy and friendly person to take care of our kids in our absence. we will need you to take them to school and bring them back home. they like picnics and love having fun so you will be a part of the family and you will take them to the movies and cinemas once a while,they really liked our last aupair because she was friendly and took them like her own family or should i say like her own kid brother and sister.
I will be expecting your mail to know if you have a Working Visa to work legally in UK and if you can drive to know if you will make use of our spare car, you payment will be weekly which is going to be 400GBP as your weekly allowance. Your Saturday and Sunday will be free days in case you have other things you want to do for yourself and you will be living in an apartment of 2 rooms and a living room which is part of our duplex owned by my family.We will also like to know when you will be available to come over and the duration you can spend it, in case you want to study abroad that will not be a problem as my family will help you secure a good college or university of your choice,all these i suppose should be Okay by you.
