This is not a genuine au pair opportunity; it is a scam. The au pair position does not exist, and the travel agency is fake and will not obtain a visa or any other documents for you.

If you had continued with this, he probably would have sent you a check or a credit card payment for too much money, and asked you to forward the excess money to someone else. The check or credit card details would be fake or stolen, and when this was discovered, the money it represented would be removed from your account again. Therefore, you would discover that the 'excess money' that you had forwarded had not come from that (now-removed) payment, but had come from your own money.
