Some host family emailed me, I just want to know if he is real and if the address said is really in UK

other things here in England as you will have your working permit as

Thanks for posting these emails. Yes, they are both scammers. Could you please post some more of their emails if you have any? And if possible, could you post the headers aswell? If you don't know how to get the headers, just ask.

Ritchie Ashley has also contacted me. I was going to find out if this person was a scammer and found the answer here. Thank you:) I've received exactly the same letter from him/her (?). In the letters this person asked me to contact their so called "travel agent" and to contribute (quote): "just a little to it in order to show your dedication and readiness to work". He also gave a e-mail of this "travel agent". Here it is: [email protected].

This person was nice and even attached the photos of his family. The problem is i'm from Russia and according to the international agreements and visa requierements can't come to the UK as an au-pair. I informed Richard Hawkins about it and here's an answer i've received:

"I have just read your email and you can work in my country as a Nanny as the working visa will be applied for through the British Home Embassy here in the United Kingdom and when its ready it would be sent to you to go to the British Embassy in your country to pick up the working permit on your international passport. All i need is your interest and if you want to come to the UK and all will be process and sorted through my family travelling agent here in the United kingdom, I wish you all the best and hope you can join my family soon and please keep in touch.

The phrase about some mysterious "travelling agent" made me become alerted. What do you say? Could you help me to find out if Richard Hawkins is a scammer or not.

It's another scammer. You were right--you can't work in UK as a nanny. The scammer doesn't care what the law says--he will promise anything, because he doesn't plan to deliver anyway. His whole goal is to get cash from you for imaginary fees for a visa that doesn't exist.

No genuine family will ever tell you to go to a travel agency, immigration office, or a lawyer to get work permits, visa, or other travel documents.

The mails you have received from scammers cj0212 are from very stupid ones.

The one who thinks Bristol is in London hasn't even bothered to look at a map, and the one who says

The town sits on a lake and is one of the hottest areas in the U.K. during the summer months with temperatures typically surpassing 100F degrees each day.

........is utterly insane, and has clearly never visited the UK or even read any books about the country.

A week of temperatures at that level would create a national emergency and fill the hospitals with victims of heat stroke.
